Годами игра расцвела и является сейчас одной из самых популярных настольных игр в мире, требующая внимательности, мастерства и стратегии для достижения успеха.
Цель игры – захватить короля противника. Чтобы захватить короля, ему необходимо объявить шах. Если король не может избежать его самостоятельно или с помощью своего войска, ему поставлен мат, и он считается захваченным.
