You can practice most words in the Spanish language as well as conjugated verbs of any tense.

Noticing these features makes tilde placement easier to understand and learn.

3. Help Button. The Help button is designed to be your assistant as you interact with the features found in the Lessons screens.

As you practice, the Help button works alongside you to illustrate the specific types of vowels located in the tonic syllable of each word.

Each Help screen includes details about the vocalic content of the tonic syllable. The ability to understand these details as you practice is essential to learning tilde placement.

Note: Accent Mark = Tilde A tilde is mark placed over a vowel in accordance with the orthographic rules of Spanish. For example: árbol, béisbol, río, habló, último. Tilde is another way of saying accent mark. Refer to El Pequeño Larousse Ilustrado for the definition of tilde.

Enter Any Word is a new feature that lets you to practice any word of your choosing. As you process words through your new app, you learn how to distinguish marked words from unmarked words. You will end up just knowing how to determine which words get tildes and which words do not.

After learning whether the word you process gets a tilde or not, you can choose to practice more words of a similar type. If you want to practice a word that is not found in our database, you can send us a message and give us a list of any words you would like to practice marking. We will quickly add your list of words into our database so you can practice the words you send to us. We continually add new words to our database. It’s capacity is unlimited.

The tilde placer is larger and more user friendly. You use this feature to place a tilde over the correct vowel in words that get accent marks. It gives you that real-life sensation that you really are marking accent marks on words. Before you know it, you know why each word gets an accent mark.
