The #Appalachia augmented reality application promotes artistic and cultural experiences. These experiences are starting in Pikeville Kentucky and will expand outward throughout the Appalachian Region.

We hope this application encourages new ideas and experiments for murals, installations, and various fabricated constructs, that can take on - an additional layers of narrative through augmentation. We hope these experiences serve as a meeting point for people throughout the region and become a source of collaboration, fun, and inspire new ideas!

This mobile application allows you to select "art-works" that have accompanied augmentation experiences. You can experience these on site and use the map to help locate the murals within Pikeville.
