Now it's much easier to find friends on Backspace. You can now send personal invite links to your friends and they'll be taken straight to your profile on Backspace!

Just fixed a few little bugs. Thanks to you all for providing us with constant feedback and helping us make Backspace better!

Minor bug fixes.

- We’re constantly aiming to make our photo and video sharing better. We have a ton of new cool filters, stickers, and effects for you to play around with!
- New LIKE animation. When you hit the LIKE button, you'll see a cool new animation.
- Changed the size of the posts and how they appear in your feed. We made it look way cleaner!
- Push notifications were acting a little goofy. We fixed that too.
- And of course, a few other small bug fixes.

All photos, videos, and "thoughts" have a 24 hour lifespan. This way, you can feel free to share everything in your life without worrying that anything will stay alive forever on Backspace.

Remember, your favorite posts live longer. Just hit LIKE on a post and time is magically added to that post's lifespan; giving the best posts a longer lifespan. Cool, right?

Various improvements

We now upload faster! See the progress of the upload as well, no more guessing how long it'll take to upload.

We've built something very cool. When a friend takes a screenshot of your post, you and anyone who sees that post will know that that friend took a screenshot of that post!

Find all your friends that are already on Backspace with ease. We've simplified the view and made a much more personal message for invited friends.

Fixed a bug that would cause the app to crash.

It's now easier than ever to find cool content! Find top users without leaving your feed.

Bug fixes: comments were getting cut off, some bio's weren't showing properly, etc.

We've completely updated your news feed with our original Backspace Card design. Also, we've made it much easier to share with friends. Simple hit the post button at the bottom and take a pic, video, or share a thought. It's that easy. Remember, everything you share disappears after 24 hours.

Also, when you tap on a post in your feed, you'll see that we've updated the design of the comment screen. Single-tap on the screen to get a full-screen view of a post.

We've completely redesigned the profile. Check it out, it's easy! Simply tap on the menu icon in the top-left corner of your screen. Then tap your profile photo to check it out!

The entire user profile was redone to look amazing, check it out! It's easy. Simply tap on menu icon in the top-left corner of your home screen and tap on your profile photo. We're redesigning the entire app. Stay tuned!

Thanks to all the amazing feedback, we've been able to make some cool updates. We think you'll like it.

- We've updated the design of the hourglass icon on posts; indicating how much time is left on the lifespan of that post before it disappears.
- Double-tap on photos, videos, and "thoughts" from your news feed to LIKE a post.
- When you LIKE a post, you'll see how much time you've added to the lifespan of that post by LIKING it. When you tap the LIKE button or double-tap on the post, an hourglass will briefly overlay that post. Directly below the hourglass, you'll see exactly how much time you've added to the post; in effect, extending the lifespan of that post.
- We've redesigned our camera for photos and videos. We think you'll like the new design.
- In your side-menu (icon located at the top-left of your home screen), you'll notice that we've changed "Discover" to "Trending". Tapping "Trending" enables you to see the trending hashtags and top users on Backspace.

Updated user interface. When you LIKE or comment on a post, you add time to the lifespan of that post. You'll see a "+2min" appear where the post's timer is located. Then shortly after, the new time will appear.

Also, you'll notice a progress bar on your profile. This progress bar tells you how close you are to "leveling up". When you level up, you now have the ability to add a larger amount of time to the lifespan of someone else's post when you LIKE/comment on it than what a newer user would add. You now have more influence on Backspace!
