Introducing "Amateurs", a new addition to our beloved game universe! This feature, accessible from the dashboard menu, lets you build your stable with amateur fighters who will grow, compete, and ascend to professional ranks.
The feature welcomes amateurs in two age categories: under 18s, referred to as Juniors, and over 18s. You, as a manager, can scout, sign, and nurture these young fighters, whose potential and skillset might significantly surpass the average. A successful amateur background paves the way for greater Box Office attributes upon their pro debut, amplifying the excitement of their career journey.
Amateur fighters compete in three prestigious tournaments: Junior World for under 18s, World for over 18s, and the ultimate honor, the olympic tournament - an exclusive contest where the top fighter from each country battles for glory.
Signing an amateur to your roster depends on the size of your pro roster, your Manager Influence Points, and having a gym in the amateur's home country. New managers are granted 20,000 IP points at the start of the game to kickstart their journey.
The road to professional boxing is unique for every amateur. They may turn pro after their 18th birthday, but many aim for at least one olympic cycle. Tournament medallists and experienced amateurs are quicker to turn pro, while high-profile amateurs may delay going pro until after major tournaments. Strategic decisions and timing for turning amateur to pro contribute significantly to the game's strategy and depth.
An amateur's success, time spent in the ring, and championship records not only affect their professional potential but also determine the XP they carry into their professional career. These details are recorded and displayed on the pro fighter's Record screen.

In the latest update of Boxing Manager, we've been making some significant improvements to the overall game performance.
Now when advancing the game each week for newly created games, advance times are on average over 33% faster than previous versions.
For players of older save games (greater than 5 years) we are seeing some boosts where advance week speed can be up to X2 quicker on average.

Depending on the fighter's damage and your relationship with the fighter you can suggest retirement for them. Whether the fighter retires remains of their own choosing and according to how much physical damage they have sustained as well as other factors such as belts held and career earnings.
This feature is available for fighters that are currently under contract or who are a Son of the manager (regardless of whether they are under contract or not).
NEW Fighters can become trainers!!
Fighters who have elected to retire in this situation may also elect to become trainers in the game. Not all fighters can become trainers and not all good fighters go on to become good trainers.

View the damage that any fighter has received over the course of the career.

Another month, ANOTHER MASSIVE UPDATE!
Introducing our fifth set of titles and rankings, "The 'Magazine' Title and Rankings" as our gameworld gets bigger and even more realistic.
- Title awarded to the best fighter in each division with real world rule set making this title honour the ultimate challenge to both win and retain.
- New "Magazine" rankings for the top ten in weight division.
- Increase you and your fighter's paydays by having the Magazine title sanction your fight fights.
- Fully customisable naming for all world title orgs so call the Magazine title (and the rest of the alphabet soup) your preferred titles throughout the game.
And there's more in this update!!
-We have also added a small new scenario that utilises a new percentage based contract and fee model. it is still very much beta but we look forward to your feedback as we try out new features in the gameworld.

- If vacant any fight with top 1 and 2 ranked fighters can be for magazine title.
- Champs get c10% more on gate when champion.
- Champs must fight a top 5 rated opponent within five fights or stripped of title.
- Fights with a top 5 rated fighter and a reigning champion will most likely be for title
- Title goes vacant when champion loses ANY fight, retires or changes weight.

All Weights Expansion Pack update: All stable managed fighters now have the potential to change weight throughout their career, according to game, career and each fighter’s specific attributes and ability. (Please note this feature is only for those games created using the All Weights Expansion Pack. It does not require an additional purchase of the pack)
Fighter’s Cut Tendency - a fighter’s Cut Tendency can now be reduced in two ways. Firstly, fighter’s whose current trainer possesses both high Nutrition and Cut Work attributes may see a natural reduction in the fighter’s Cut Tendency value when not scheduled for a fight. Manager’s can now also use XP to reduce the fighter’s Cut Tendency. This figure does not require or use any fighter Potential. The XP cost of the change is calculated using their trainer’s Nutrition and Cut Work attributes.
Fixed display bug where incorrect weight could be shown in the fighter’s title label.
Some fixes for issue whereby some users gameworlds could not be opened.
Tapping a fighter’s rankings on the fighter screen now takes the player to the rankings for that fighter’s weight class.
