Catchin' Sync is a utility for video & audio professionals and enthusiasts alike.
In most video playback or monitoring situations different codecs and display types as well as hardware cause a delay between the video signal and the audio signal.
Catchin' Sync helps the user to determine amount of sync delay between video and audio devices.
Catchin Sync can also be used to measure the distance of a sound making event (bouncing ball, lightning etc). This free version includes a sample video for demonstration purposes. You'll need to purchase the Full Access to enable video recording to use in your tests.

Useful app
Good and usefull app but you should be aware about offset of camera itself. On iPhone 4 it is about -40 ms. I am curious why video goes first and audio a bit later.
