1. Added a new equipment slot called Boosters. Boosters allow you to extend some of your ship abilities beyond the limits of normal enhancers, weapons and stats.
The new Boosters are:
- Aptitude: Increases the experience and points earned per kill
- Damage: Increases the damage dealt of all player weapons
- Turret: Increases the duration value of each block for the Wing Turret
- Resistance: Absorbs a percentage of all damage taken from enemy ships

- Added the ability to change the difficulty of a save slot at any time from the "Saved Games" screen. Changing the difficulty will reset the unlocked missions and stars but all other content such as gold, stats and weapons will remain intact.
- Added 3 new difficulty levels for a total of 6 levels. Levels 1, 2 and 3 correspond to the old Casual, Challenging and Impossible difficulties so you will see no change to your existing games. Levels 4, 5 and 6 are locked until you beat the game on the preceding difficulty level, for example, in order to access difficulty level 4 you must beat the game on level 3 and so on.
- Fixed a bug in the star requirements which made some of the missions have a lower requirement than intended.
- Fixed an issue causing some of the enemy homing weapons to detonate prematurely
- Fixed a bug preventing the Help button in the Mission Map screen from displaying the help dialog
