Chessmate allows anyone to dive into a game of chess. Whether you’re a beginner (yes, I’m talking about you) or a pro (hmm, debatable), the variety of game modes will challenge you with its witty AI. Play solo, or play against a friend (or against yourself if you don’t have any)… or even let an AI play against another AI. Go grab some popcorn.
It is as beautiful as it is witty, and minimalistic as it is fun. A scrollable history view captures your previous moves, and the wonderful haptics keep you engaged.

The Bishop of Canterbury once visited my school. He was clearly an impostor; he never once walked diagonally... Bad jokes aside, this update aims to satisfy the most prominent requests.

- Fixed layout issues on some devices where the cross button wouldn't be displayed and the history view was displaced, preventing users quitting a match
- Fixed a few crashes

Looks good, really. Thanks for app. But:
1. There Is no pause in the game AI vs AI. I want to think about how I would go myself and see how the computer goes
2. You cannot drag a pieces
3. Immediately after the checkmate, a window appears with a suggestion to go to the main menu, which prevents you from studying the board and the history of moves
4. The story moves pictures - beautiful, but not very convenient. It would be great if clicking on these images opens a window with detailed notation.

The main feature of the game is minimalism, for which I like it. But the price is a bit higher, 0.99$ is the most adequate. Btw, add the Russian language and slightly increase the functionality.
Игра хорошая, главная ее фишка - минимализм, за что она мне и нравится. Единственное, что цена в 149 рублей по факту завышена, адекватнее было бы 70 рублей. Также жду русский язык и увеличение функционала в целом. Игра классная, покупайте!

Красивая, удобная, легкая для восприятия версия шахмат.
Но интеллект компьютера слишком плохо проработан, даже сложную версию легко победить.
