“Cinchy.me”™ is the brainchild of both founders, with collective experience spanning 50 years, and in particular 10+ in the Australian construction industry, two inter-connected challenges remained constant:
1. Candidates did not have a digital environment to store their trade certifications, so they could repeatedly share them for each new role.
2. Recruiting businesses spent significant amounts of time trying to collect and collate trade certifications and qualifications for each new applicant. In short, recruiting for a highly compliance led industry was frustrating for both the candidate and recruiting business alike.
“Cinchy.me”™ offers a solution to both of these challenges. “Cinchy.me”™ is a downloadable app for candidates to upload and create their own secure digital profile. The digital profile has a copy of their trade certifications and qualifications, work history, identification documents, personal details, and a copy of their resume (if they wish to include it). The “Cinchy.me”™ app is also a recruitment platform where recruiting businesses can advertise open positions to the candidates. The candidates can apply for a position, where a skeleton view of their profile is available to the recruiting business and if shortlisted, the candidate can choose to release their full digitised profile, at the touch of a button.
The digital profile contains uploaded images of the trade certifications and qualifications, along with key digitised data associated with the certifications such as expiry dates, qualification type, registration numbers, RTO organisation, etc. The candidates create a digital profile once but can repeatedly share or download their profile for every new role they wish to apply for.
On the other side, the recruiting business will receive the digitised skeleton candidate profile. This replaces and solves the painful and manual process of back-and-forth emails to ensure individual candidates have all of the required qualification and experience. Considering recruiting businesses must do this for 100’s, and in some cases 1000’s of applicants, this amounts to an inefficient and time-consuming process. In addition, the app contains news articles and related construction updates on the home page, so candidates can stay up-to-date with all that is happening in the industry, even if they are not looking for a new role at that point in time. “Cinchy.me”™ is a “win-win” scenario for all concerned.
The candidate can download the app, create their profile and view a summary of the advertised jobs for free. However, to export your profile or share your profile with a recruiting business, the candidate must purchase an annual subscription.
