Cipher is using The Onion Router to host Hidden Service, that is used as a “server” inside the IPhone. Cipher encryption contains 3 independent layers and is unique for each conversation. By using TOR as a VPN, Cipher protects user’s Internet activity from ISPs and hackers. Serverless architecture guarantees that there is no middle-man reading your conversation.
Due to serverless connection both users need to be online to receive messages. (background refresh would allow to stay online up to 3 hours)

3. New welcome screens introduce main features and explain how to use an application in easy 5 step way. Enjoy!
