Code Sculpture allows you to create 3D art from simple rules. You start with a basic shape, for example a cube. Think of this as a piece of clay (if that helps). You then apply rules to some or all faces of the cube (like adding new pieces of clay). You can then apply more rules to the new shapes you've added.

In this way you can create infinitely complex fractal objects. Or simple tree-like or chessboard-like shapes (the examples included).

You can play around with the sizes and colors of each shape.

As you build your artwork you will see a preview. When you are ready you can view a larger version and step through every step in your creation's construction.
