Redesigned Chat Bubbles: Say hello to our redesigned chat message bubbles, enhancing your messaging experience with style and clarity.


Consistent User Avatars: Your avatar color is now consistent across all platforms, ensuring a seamless and recognizable presence.


Streamlined Settings and About Page: We've moved your settings from the bottom tab bar to the new side menu, which also houses our new About page. This provides easy access to personalize your app experience and learn more about us.


Enhanced Camera: iPad users, rejoice! We've introduced a new camera for iPad, and improved rotation for iPhone cameras for capturing those perfect moments.


Permissions-Based Features: Some app features will now adapt based on permissions set by administrators, ensuring a secure and tailored experience.


iOS 15 Requirement: To bring you the best possible experience, Crypty now requires a minimum iOS 15 version.

- Offline Mode: Unlock the app for reading messages even without an internet connection, perfect for when you're on a plane or in areas with limited connectivity. (Requires a YubiKey device.)
- Saved Messages: Mark important messages as saved, allowing you to quickly find and access them whenever you need to.
- Dynamic Font Sizing: The app now adopts the system font size, ensuring optimal readability based on your preferences.
- File Sharing from System Share Menu: With the new ability to share a file directly into Biocoded from a system share menu, you can now share content with even greater ease.
- Custom User Profile Images and Statuses: Your contacts are now easier to differentiate and the app has come even more alive with the addition of custom user profile images and statuses.
- Message reactions. You can now react to each message.
- Encrypted backup export/import.
- Search for a message within a chat.
- We are introducing a new type of chatrooms - public chatrooms.

Crypty has a new way to protect your data! Actually multiple ways.
By opening Settings and Application Locking you can set the preferred way to protect your data, is it a PIN lock, Face ID or Touch ID lock or by using a YubiKey hardware key. You can also enable recovery keywords if desired.
Additionaly, in this new version we're introduction @mentions to Crypty.
When you want to let someone in a group know that a message is intended for him or her you can do that by using the @ character.
End-to-end encrypted location service now supports encrypted location history, which you can turn ON to see someones path that he or she took from the start to the current location.
And there is more - you can now send short videos directly from the integrated gallery.
We've also polished the app all around so it is more stable.

* Overall improvements on messaging events. Read reports will be delivered and visible on all chats now.
* Messages with expiration have a more streamlined user interface and are available on all chats now.
* Improved location sharing with real-time location sharing upgrade. Location sharing is supported on all chats now. Location sharing can be enabled for a preset duration, after which it will automatically deactivate.

+ New reply message feature: You can now directly reply on any message in your conversations.
To reply to a message simply swipe over the message from left to right and press the reply button or press and hold on the message that you with to reply to and press reply.
You can interact and reply to any type of message - text, image or file.

- Video calls! Users are now able to turn on camera in conference or chat room calls
