DayCape is an app to help children with visual structure. It very simply displays with images and visual time what tasks need to be done during the day. Also, it enables an app and web tool for supporters to the child, such as parents, teachers, and mentors, to plan and send tasks directly to the child's app. This can be used to plan the day for whole families or school classes.

This is an app specially created for supporting children with diagnoses such as autism and other diagnoses. But it’s also great support for all children with their daily life. Also, it’s great support even for adults with the need of extra personal assist. It’s based on research, interviews and user testings with families with autistic children, schools that provide special care, and other support organizations for autistic children.

App features include:

- Choose images from your own phone or the DayCape library.

- Secure connection for the child without unnecessary logouts.

DayCape offers free use for children in and an auto-reenable subscription feature for Parents and Teachers to easily plan the day for their children and students.

- Parent subscription enables you to plan the day for 3 children and invite more people to help to plane the day.
- School subscription enables you to plan for up to 15 students and invite teachers and parents to help to plane the day.

– DayCape offers 30 days free trial for parents and teachers from when you start your
account without any need to start a subscription. Only after the 30 days trial, you need to subscripts to continue access Parent and Teacher features.
The subscription charges every month from when you decide to start a subscription.

– Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
– Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
– The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
– Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto
-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase

Hi Supers! We got a great deal of feedback on new improvements from last update. So now we added a few more settings to adjust the app a bit more to you :) Go to the apps settings to find them.
- Choose number of days displayed in the past. Now you can choose to not see yesterday or how many days in the past you want to see in the app.
- Not displaying timer. If you only want to have the digital time you can choose to remove the timer.

We have been working extra hard to make the new DayCape version our best update so far. This version includes highly requested features such as:

-New login option for CapePlanners.
Log in as a CapePlanner and discover new ways to plan the day directly from the app.

- Add images directly from your phone or iPad.
- Crop images
- Swap between CapeUsers who you want to plan for.

- Improved auto scrolling that makes it easier to find completed activities.
- Choose to view only the actual day.
-Improved Widgets. If you haven´t tried it yet, go to widgets in the home screen in your iPhone and add it.
- Bugg fixes.

Hi supers! Based on your feedback we have now enabled so that you can view the coming activity with images before you even enter the DayCape app :)
- Image notification. Now the activity image is displayed with the reminder.
- Widget. Now you can choose to have a widget displayed in order to stay up to date even when you´re not in the app. Swipe to the left in your app view and choose Edit to enable your DayCape widget.
- IOS 10 optimization.
- Bugg fixed. Some users has experienced that there are multiple notifications popping up for the same activity. That bugg is resolved now.
- Display only today. Some users has expressed that they can only choose to display today and tomorrow. That is resolved. In Settings you can now choose to only display the current day.
- Start time is now viewable even when the activity is active.

We have heard that some of the children that use the app also want to help out on planing the day! Therefore, it is now possible for you to create new activities directly in the app. Go to Settings and activate the "Create activities" function.

If you want to have the activity read by voice then you can activate the Speak synthesizer. You can activate the Speak synthesizer by going to Settings.

We have fixed the bug that sometimes didn't allow to download pictures in the app.

With the children that uses DayCape we have come up with new features that could make your day even better :)

- Finally the DayCape friends are here! These friends can make you´re day even more fun. Go in to settings and choose a friend. When you activity starts the friend will appear and walk with you during the activity.
- Complete you activity by setting your mood. This s a great way to follow up how different tasks made you feel. This is a great way to learn how to express and communicate feelings. Also the Cape friends will appear to give some encouragement.
- Now you can flip your phone or iPad on the side. With improved landscape mode DayCape looks even better in sideview on the iPhone and in the iPad.
- Even more fixes to make DayCape work better in iPad.
- If you are not a fan of colors you can now change the settings to Greyscale.
- You can now adjust how many days you want to display in settings.
- We are now supporting Spanish fully in the app. Also we have translation support for weekdays and months for French, Norwegian and Finnish
