Bug fixes for iPhone SE

-Follow people: Duckling members can now follow each other. You will get a notification when someone follows you.

-Landscape mode: Tilt your phone to landscape position to view insights with a different perspective. Makes wide photos and videos look beautiful.

-Bug fixes: We fixed a few bugs along the way.

-Memberships: You can now subscribe to become a member of the Duckling network, and be part of building the next big thing in media.

-New workflow for creating an insight: It's now faster and more intuitive to build your insights with text, images, videos and more

-New onboarding workflow: When you enter Duckling for the first time you will now be guided through creating your first insight

-Swipe to close insight: Swipe from the top of the screen when viewing an insight, and the insight will close. It's faster than tapping the close icon.

-Better design of showroom: The personal information at the top of the showroom will now minimize to reveal more insights when scrolling. It's also more intuitive to edit your information

-Various styling upgrades: We sprinkled a bit of color and general enhancements throughout the app to make it a bit more visually appealing

-Various workflow enhancements: We made a bunch of adjustments to workflows around the app to make it faster and more intuitive.

Bug fixes and performance improvements

BUG FIXES
- We fixed the issue when the user selects a video in iOS library the preview was not working.
- We fixed the problem that sometimes users were unable to upload media; user had to logout and login again to be able to upload a media file.
- We took care of the issue of on select media view when tapping "Select" and the "Cancel", the app still showed on mulitple select mode.
- We fixed the issue when adding a drawer page, the user could not delete it.
- We fixed the issue of the "delete account" button caused a crash.
- We took care of the problem with the Bing search results that it showed the same items over and over.
- We fixed he issue in the search box of the app allowed the user to add an already inserted topic.
- We took care of the issue that the app allowed a user to add a topic (tag) twice.
- INBOX: we took care of the UI issue that long insight titles were spliced togheter and looked bad.

NEW FEATURES
- 60 character for the insight cover; now insights will show a cover text.
- Web topic(s) / user showroom page: we added an infinite scroll for automatic insights load.

IMPROVEMENTS
- Onboarding: we changed the Welcome screen and added a link to the Login form.
- All the onboarding screens have now a back button to the left "<" and a cancel button to the right "X", which takes you to the main view of the app.
- Image editing workflow for the insight cover.
- We added the scroll capability to media preview screen.
- Onboarding: we added a label next to the publish button to make it more visible.
- Text styling on the drawer of the Story Editor.
- The app now has a tweaked workflow for updating the showroom.
- New styling of headers in the main section.
- INBOX: when the user taps an item, the app open the linked insight.

MINOR FIXES / CHANGES
- We changed the orange color everywhere in the app (texts, icons) with the red Duckling color.
- We increased the size of the round filtering buttons on the add media view (they were too small).
- We replaced the graphic of a missing image asset with a better looking minimalist one.
- We fixed the UI issue of the progressbar and the menu icons were running out of screen on iPhone X.
- Web Player: We updated the styling of tweets (font and background color).
- Web Player: When clicking the "+" at the end of the insight, now the link is opened in a new tap.
- Web Player: When an insight has a world media item, the player shows a link in the upper left corner that leads back to source file.
- Insight Editor: Multiple select media UI change.
- Web topic feed: Insight teasers show full black transparent layer.

BUG FIXES
- We took care of the issue if you enter a story from the showroom and tap “create the next” at the end, it does not open a new story.
- We fixed the issue of when start typing and then get a keyboard suggestion (the standard iOS suggestions) and tap it the app crashes.
- We took care of the issue sometimes when putting in an interest (topic) no stories (insights) come up, even though there are stories with such interest (topic).
- We fixed the issue when the user edits an image in iOS library it got completely pixelated when adding it to a story.
- We fixed the issue that the app let a user to like a story more than one time.
- We took care of an issue in iPhone 6+: On the main view there was a dark transparent overlay between the image and the text.
- We fixed the issue the app sometimes crashes when tap Comments (insight Viewer).

NEW FEATURES
- The app introduces INSIGHTS instead of stories and TOPICS instead of interests to get a better semanthic of what the people share.
- The app introduces a new registration process with an improved and more intuitive flow.
- Registration process: The input fields check if nickname and phone number is correct as you type, not as you submit.
- The email/phone field suggests the contry code based on users location.
- The app introduces a completely new look for the Web player. Now the images and videos are shown in full screen.
- The app introduces a completely new look for the Onboarding, giving the user the capability of adding their first Story as a guest user.

IMPROVEMENTS
- Scale down text in teasers instead of breaking it apart.
- The "inbox" button in the bar navigation (at the bottom) has a badge to alert the user there are new messages.
- We fixed the long descriptions on People view that looked ugly; if the descriptions are too long to fit the view the app add a "..." at the end.
- When selecting an interest (topic) in the publish screen (insight) now it moves to the top of the screen; this way you can see which topics you have selected.
- Text styling on Main View of the Story Editor.
- Insights (stories) search has been improved.
- The alert “nickname is taken” is shown below the nickname input field.
- The app only shows onboarding once if user stays anonymous (guest).
- When user is not signed in: a) Tap on now it says > “Sign in to create a showroom” b) Inbox says >“Sign in to receive messages”.
- The app now has a better response time on media upload.
- Now the app when tapping an interest in the search field removes the interest and place it in related tags.

MINOR FIXES / CHANGES
- Default avatar image for new users.
- Showroom shows a default text to invite users to add a short bio.
- Resized text on Interests (topics) view.
- New drawer icon (story editor / viewer)
- Web player shows a preloading spinner for slow connections.
- Increased line height of the text on the teasers on the Main View for better reading.
- Story Editor: the text title is a bit smaller to provide more space on the top and the bottom of the card if user writes all 30 words.

We did a few fixes to the main view and small UI tweaks to make the app look and work a bit better.

BUG FIXES
- We took care of the issue in My media section, sometimes when the user tap on videos (filter) there were only one video and some others had missing thumbnails and the app just showed a white box.
- We fixed the issue of photos in the web player were pixelated.
- We took care of the issue the user couldn´t delete a card.
- Label on comment button was partially hidden in iPhoneX.
- “What would you like to say” field in the comments view was half way hidden in iPhone X.
- The user has the option of delete the account.

MINOR FIXES
- User's avatar at the bottom of the story viewer is linked to showroom.
- In the story editor, when a user swipes to add a new card then press “X” to cancel, the app previously created a new blank card. Now, tapping on the X button the app cancels the action of adding the new card.

BUG FIXES
- We took care of the issues with media upload that sometimes doesn't work.
- We fixed the issue when there is an empty card in a story, the story can't be published.
- We fixed the issue that sometimes images are only uploaded half way due to connectivity issues.
- We fixed the issue that sometimes the app crashes when attempting to add a photo to a card.
- We took care of the issue that sometimes the app displays an error "Can't upload media" from the device library.
- We fixed the issue when the user completes a story, then go to edit it, then publish, the changes are not saved.
- We fixed the issue with audio playback not working in the story viewer.

NEW FEATURES
- We introduce story autosave, so when the app crashes when you are in the middle of editing a story you can continue where you left, when you reopen the app.
- We added a private tab in user's showroom to hold stories with no interests associated.

MINOR FIXES
- While changing the password, if the new password is less than 6 characters the app displays the error "Wrong current password".
- We took care of the issue that app prompts users to connect to Instagram multiple times. If they tap dismiss the prompt should not show again.
- We took care of the issue there is no way to delete a sound. Now you can tap and hold to remove it.
- We fixed the issue when a user create a story with a new interest, this is not added to the user's showroom.
- We fixed that when adding media it is not showing in the chronological order of the device library.

Bug fixes:
- Sometimes a story shows up twice in the main feed of the app.
- When signing up you are able to go back if you input the wrong email, and you can request for verification code again.
- Video keeps playing when moving to another card in the Story.
- Audio file disappears when adding a text.

New features:
- Introducing Bing provides our powerful search engine for media content.
- Bing only gets media with the correct copyright.
- Search suggestions and search history.
- Introducing the Drawer, add more content to your stories either by attaching a content page or external link.
- Visible icon to identify the source of media.
- The media now shows its metadata as created by and the original source.
- Audio and text can be both used and placed in a story card at the same time.

Improvements:
- Keyboard blocked the login screen on an iPhone 5.
- When adding a card, now there is an option to select blank card.
- Image in full screen, viewing stories in horizontal mode (Adaptive Layout).
- New user showroom with more features.
- When you tap the field "search the world", the "your media" content should disappear, and you should see your selected interests (the ones you have in the interest scroller in the main view).

Minor fixes:
- Audio and video clips shows a spinner loader while the media is loading.
- Full screen view on preview and inside Story viewer.
- Design fix on sharing the story on social media.
- When you are inside a story and tap to go to a users showroom, then tap to close showroom, it returns you to the main view…it should return you to where you came from.

Bug fixes
- When creating a new account with an email used on another acocunt, the new account would crash.
- The user were not able to login with email only with username.
- Audio and video would continue to play when deleted.
- When you scroll through the story grid, the avatar image and name would sometimes be wrong, then load the correct one after a few seconds.
- Stories would reappear after being deleted.

New features
- Share your showroom with others via email, text message and social media.
- Search for new interests from inside the story editor.
- Ask to have offensive and inappropirate content blacklisted.
- Search and write texts with danish characters Æ, Ø, Å .

Improvements
- See related interests when selecting a new interest.
- Start with a blank card when creating a new story.
