• Game Menu: instead of the old Settings screen there is now a brand new Game Menu with a couple of new options.
• Supporter Subscription screens: within the Game Menu, you'll find the new My Subscription, Feature Voting and Hall of Fame screens.
• Studio Management: there's also a brand new screen to launch new studios and to edit/load existing ones
• Facelift: the Knowledge Base and the Contact screens got much prettier.
• Settings: there is now a new Settings screen, where you can toggle the tutorial and notification settings and delete all your game data.
• And the bugs: we hunted down a couple of pesky bugs and made small refinements.

You can now write your own loglines for your new shows and give them longer titles!

These are all the changes we made in this update:
• there is now an option to add your own, custom logline to new shows,
• the length of the title you can add to a new show is not restricted anymore,
• the Start a New Show screen has been rebuilt from the ground up,
• the Select Genre screen for a new show tells you when each genre will unlock,
• the Select Main Cast screen for a new show tells you when each cast option will unlock,
• the probability for success when pitching the very first show of a new studio has been significantly increased,
• and a couple of pesky bugs have been fixed and refinements made.

The way the viewership is calculated for each episode has been totally reimagined from the ground up: it is now much more consistent from episode to episode and more realistic to real-life ratings.

Some related mechanics have also been improved and some additional changes made:
• pitching chance calculation for new shows are now much more accurate,
• broadcast schedules are now filled with shows more completely,
• the streaming schedule has also more shows on average,
• streaming viewership is now measured for 8 weeks instead of 4,
• there are now twice as many competing AI studios,
• ongoing turn processing is now shown with an animation on the Weekly Events screen,
• a new popup shows ways to connect with the community and to follow us, the developers,
• an "Are you sure?" alert has been added to the Archive Show action button,
• and a couple of pesky bugs have been fixed and refinements made.

We refined the screen where you can Pick a New Action for the CEO:
• changed the order of the sections so that the most frequently used actions are on top,
• moved the Hire and Fire Showrunners & Marketing Managers actions to a new subscreen called Manage Staff,
• and removed the now obsolete Staff screen from under the Business Information section in the Management Office.

We also fixed a couple of pesky bugs and made more refinements, the most significant ones being:
• the minimum episode score requirements were sometimes unrealistically high,
• sometimes, when multiple broadcast/cable shows of yours were airing at the same time, season renewal decisions were missing for some of them, leaving the show in limbo,
• shows with rejected pilots could be unarchived,
• it was also possible to circumvent the maximum active show limit by archiving and unarchiving shows,
• the number formatting was wrong with the region set to India,
• and sometimes crashes happened.

A completely new, animated graphical studio screen has arrived, where you can not only see your studio building but also interact with it! Open rooms by tapping on them and manage everything from there, clear out rooms and establish new ones in empty rooms. Make sure you have the necessary rooms for episode production and to add additional production rooms as you produce multiple episodes in parallel. You can also build new building levels as necessary! Hiring and firing Showrunners and Marketing Managers got a revamp, and Consultants are now per-episode hires, not permanent employees. Enjoy a completely new tutorial to help you get to know the game. And finally, we added new contact options for Discord, Reddit, Threads and Twitter, so you have more options to join our community and follow the development! Difficulty Levels & Sandbox Mode arrived, giving you a lot more options and replayability! You are now able to choose a difficulty level (Easy, Realistic, Hardcore and Sandbox) for your new studios, but also to fine-tune your difficulty by setting your Starting Capital, Episode Budgets and Score Requirements, AI Efficiency, Production Costs, Pitching & Renewal Chances, Viewership Chances, Bankruptcy Threshold and turn on Unlimited Money mode. We are introducing supporter subscriptions to help fund further game development! There will be multiple levels for you to choose from to support Endless Studio, and each level will unlock additional perks for you. In this update we are introducing only Level 1, which gets rid of the ads in the game. Stay tuned for additional levels and new features!

Yep, Endless Studio is back! We've started to work on new features, but releases will probably come quite slowly, because it’s still a passion project at this point, and you know, we have to buy groceries and pay rent...

So what's included in this update? First, we put in some ads to try out whether it can significantly help speed up development by making some money. If it can't we will remove them. We also tweaked a couple of things to make the game a bit easier, especially at the beginning of a new studio:
* new studios start now with $10,000,000 instead of $5,000,000,
* bankruptcy comes now at -$5,000,000 instead of at -$1,000,000,
* salaries and crew costs are now also a bit lower than before.

Good news: your new studios will start with twice as much cash as before! Also in this update: we improved the security around the new Feature Voting functionality by adding fraud prevention to in-app purchases, so that the valuable contribution of our real fans remain unobstructed. In this update we bring you a potentially game changing (pun intended) new feature!

As you might know, Endless Studio is still in EARLY ACCESS but you can help with its further development. You see, we love the concept of this game so much, we poured 1.5 years of our time into developing it, without receiving any monetary compensation for it (since it's totally free and has no ads in it). Unfortunately we don't have the means of doing this any longer so we needed a solution. That's why we came up with a method where our biggest fans like you, can help us gather the cost of development for new features, while also having a word in determining what we should implement next.

So, within the game we are going to present you a list of possible features, that we think would be a great addition. Each feature costs a number of tokens, which can be purchased for real money, and then choose one or more features to spend them on. That way you are able to vote for the features you most desire. As soon as all required tokens are gathered for a feature, we will start implementing it. Also, as a bonus, you have the option to sign your vote either with your real name or any made up name, and as soon as the feature you voted for is implemented, we'll include you in a hall of fame!

Of course, if our biggest fans help us with the development of Endless Studio in this way, we'll not only implement the funded features but thank you by trying to do as much additional bug fixes, general game balancing and improvements as our free time allows.

Since we got a lot of feedback about the game being a bit too hard, in this version we introduce a completely new way of helping you figure out the right recipe for a high scoring episode in each genre: instead of the somewhat vague test viewer comments we had until now each time you complete the production of an episode, there is now a very specific helpful advice from your genre consultant telling you how well you allocated your episode budget across the many episode settings, and what you could change to get a higher score. We hope this makes it easier to produce better episodes faster and thus earning more money and leveling up. Thank you for playing and keep up all the helpful feedback!

Thanks to the amazing feedback from you guys we came up with a couple of game balancing changes in this version. From now on the level of the competing studios will be much closer to your own studio's level, and therefore they'll have a similar chance as you to produce high scoring episodes. This means you'll have a better chance at getting a positive outcome at broadcast pilot evaluations, new season orders and also achieve more viewers. These changes make the game easier at the beginning and progressively harder as you level up. We hope you'll agree! :) Thank you for playing and keep up all the helpful feedback!

In this version we deliver some important changes. First, if you already installed the iOS 14 beta, you'll be happy to know that Endless Studio is now compatible with it. Second, we managed to radically improve the speed of the first End Week process after you start the game. And third, we squashed a couple of bugs and made Streaming networks more willing to renew a show when only this one show was premiered on a particular week on their network. Thanks to your helpful feedback we found out that it wasn't clear enough how to archive and unarchive shows, so in this version we added a hint about this to the Shows and the New Action screens. We also fixed a bug you reported that caused the game to crash when the Tutorials were turned off. Thank you for playing and keep up all the helpful feedback! :)

In this version we succeeded in lowering the minimum iOS version requirement, and so Endless Studio is now available on iOS 12.4! We also added an option to send us email directly from the game's Settings screen, and fixed a couple of smaller bugs too. Thank you for playing and keep up all the helpful feedback! :)

Building on the fantastic feedback from you guys we've made a few game balancing improvements to make Endless Studio more challenging and fun:
- Networks now require you to reach a minimum episode score with your episodes, so from now on you need to think extra carefully how to best allocate your resources to the different episode parameters.
- We fixed the episode score algorithm because it was way too easy to get a perfect score in genres outside of Animated.
- We slightly adjusted the algorithm for the budget offered by the networks for the episodes so it is more in line with the above two changes.
