Mobile Users Can Filter Mobile Checklist for Every Status Value
Mobile users are now able to filter every type of status value within Checklist rows. If the user tries to filter for any checklist rows statuses that had not been assigned, they receive a notification.

Remote Access Version 2.14 includes user enhancements to ensure optimal system performance.
Hyperlink directs mobile users to the app.
Ericsson Remote Access mobile users are now able to launch the Remote Access app by clicking on a hyperlink in the email. If the mobile app is not installed, the user will be directed to install the mobile app.
Update App Alerts
When mobile users attempt to launch an outdated version of the Remote Access mobile app, they receive a popup notification that the app needs to be updated.

Improved GPS Coordinate Support
-Ensure that GPS coordinates are embedded in every photo.
-Allows to obtain the latitude and/or longitude data regardless of whether the coordinates are available at the exact time of upload or not.
-New failsafe has been implemented to store a cache of the mobile device’s location during a working session within the session file folder or Active Session view.
-Better support for poor connectivity or poorly performing GPS hardware.

Enhanced Datatype Integrations
Enhanced data types are available for inspection sessions generated from within Erisite.


Improved Login Experience
Users are no longer required to consent to the software’s privacy policy upon every login. The software will now only require consenting to the privacy policy on a periodic basis.

Compress Files Before Upload Functionality
Ericsson Remote Access mobile and desktop apps now automatically resample image files from their original size to a smaller file size. This helps to reduce upload times over slow internet connections, and also reduce data storage costs. There is no noticeable difference within the upload process of the desktop browser environment or mobile apps. However, maximum file dimension received by the Remote Access server will not exceed 1920 pixels.

Improved Support for Embedded EXIF Metadata from HEIF and HEIC files
Release 2.10.0 corrects an issue that occurred where HEIF and HEIC files captured on a mobile device did not support embedding GPS Coordinates. Instead, the files would read, “Data not available,” within Remote Access version of the files.
Now when GPS coordinates are available within High Efficiency files captured on a mobile device, and then uploaded via the Remote Access mobile app, Remote Access can transfer the metadata to the resulting JPG file. The GPS coordinates are ultimately burned into the image files stored within Ericsson Remote Access.



Correction for mobile users were unable to delete files that they uploaded from their own account
Release 2.10.0 mobile app corrects an issue that occurred where participant role users were no longer able to delete files that they uploaded themselves. The issue occurred in the mobile app’s checklist interface.
Mobile users can now delete files that they previously upload, themselves, from within the mobile app’s checklist.

The 2.9.0 release of Remote Access allows mobile users to define N/A status values and add comments within Checklist rows. Mobile added comments will appear within the Desktop interface, indicating the user that added the comment along with date and time stamps for when the comments were written.

The 2.8.1 release patches an issue with iOS 15 that prevented WebRTC video feeds from sending to host computers.
