Calling anyone who loves Music and tech!! We've created a symphony of Augmented Reality (AR) instruments, which you can strum, tap, and play right in your living room.
The instruments exist in AR as musical cubes and fractal wind chimes, tuned into chords. You pick the chord , then place and play the instruments to sound the notes.
As you strum the different shapes and different chords you'll hear (and see) pleasant harmonies and melodies within the key. The musical cubes can also be changed by cutting away notes, changing notes, or creating new octaves.
The musical wind chimes use fractal math to create amazing 3d shapes, along with melodies and chords. These chimes can be used as instruments to generate repeating tones for music, and provide beautiful visuals and soothing original soundscapes in keys and tempos of your choosing. Place them in your room where they hang and behave like wind chimes in response to your touch.
To round out the AR band, we've added AR drums, that manifest as a 4-sided a beat pyramid, an intuitive 3d way of looking at the 4 beats in a bar. With control over tempo and the tone of each beat you can create and then control various rhythms that you then control alongside the other instruments.
The underlying math visualization itself is a joy for those of you interested in exploring fractals in 3D. The instruments all use 3D fractals including the Menger Sponge, Mosley Snowflake, Sierpinski Pyramid, Jerusalem Cube, Koch Curve, Pythagoras Tree and Dragon Curve. Subdividing the cubes creates higher octave notes and more detailed 3D shapes.
All of the instruments are built using the AudioKit Library, which provides excellent synthesized audio guitar, bass, organ, electric piano, and more.
Play three instruments at a time for free and choose to upgrade to pro for unlimited instruments and no ads.
