GeekStyr’s mission is to take away the stigma associated with geeks sharing their passions in the mainstream online dating world. We do this by fostering a community that encourages users to show off their interests!

GeekStyr allows users to display proudly what fandoms make them unique, whether it’s fantasy or history. But we don’t stop there! We allow users to search for both friends and dates, because everyone deserves to find someone they connect with, especially platonically!

GeekStyr is 100% Free to download and use. We believe that you shouldn’t have to pay in order to use the core functions of the app.

GeekStyr Interests:
The backbone of GeekStyr are your interests, this list of over 25 geeky interests helps you discover meaningful connections!

How it works:
When you select from our list of interests, those will be displayed on your profile for other users to see. When you look at someone else’s profile you not only see how many interests they have but also how many interests you have in common, giving you conversation starters!

GeekStyr Dating:
It can be hard to find someone who shares your interests and passions, GeekStyr helps you find romance based on common interests before a date even starts. This allows you to dive deep without having to test the waters, as you know the person on the other side of the table already shares similar interests!

GeekStyr Friends:
Whether you're new to a city or are looking for someone to join your dungeon crew, finding friends who share your passions can sometimes be harder than dating. We at GeekStyr want to change the rules by helping you find meaningful friendships, without the awkwardness that comes from traditional apps.

Introducing GeekCode, a new way to match with people. On top of the standard draw and discard, you can now enter a persons "GeekCode". They'll get a request to accept on their end. After which, you'll be able to chat inside the app.

We've also been made aware that some users are having issues with account creation, and ask that you be patient with us. If you have any issues during account creation, please log out and log back in again to see if you account actually did create. We are working hard to resolve this issue, so please email us to let us know if you have any issues.
