This app is inspired by Juan Tamariz' 'método simbólico', developed in 1978, his visions on a notation system for card tricks, introduced in his trilogy ‘El Método Simbólico’ I and II, and the ‘New mini simbolico’. Only few took notice, but even the dusted oldschool magic circles can’t deny: almost 40 years later, time is right to use notation. Just as they do in music, in ballet, in math, in engineering, in aviation, in football. Streamline your approach!

1. The documents list can now be filtered for occurences of just any text within script documents across the entire repository. For example, to filter for occurences of 'ABC' in just any document enter '!!ABC'; to filter for occurences of 'ABC' in documents that contain 'abc' in the filename enter 'abc!!ABC'.
2. A new View type named 'URL' is supported. By clicking the bottom right label of URL Views the corresponding site will be opened by the Safari browser.
3. A new option to report statistics is available under Actions, Effects, Critical moments etc. are reported. The idea is to provide document's meta data.

1. The 'Context' menu's overlays for 'Place' and 'Direction' were redesigned and combined. The new 'Place' option allows to specify overlays indicating Palm, Hand, Pocket, Wallet and Case. The 'Direction' is option is deprecated. These changes make it much easier to describe actions related to palming, pocketing, and placing cards onto, into, or below card cases or wallets.
2. A new symbol was added for handing over cards from hand to hand, named HANDOVER.

1. The new 'Quick-Filter' option makes it easier to search documents by name (case sensitive, any occurrences).
2. The new 'Snap' option. 'Snap' will copy a selected slot as an image to the clipboard. The image can then be pasted to emails, text editors, open PDF-viewers of books (eg. PDF Pro), film editing software, or other applications.
3. The new 'Settings' option on the file-menu allows to access the Settings pane directly from the app.

3. New Action-symbols: in addition to the existing 'DEAL'-symbol, and as a way to accurately depict card-technique the new Action-symbols 'LIFT' and 'PUSHOFF' were added. Also, both the DEAL and the DEALSTUD options were refined and properly handle the multiple variants. By parametrizing these symbols it is now also possible to express the according multiple actions such as Double-Pushoff, Triple-Lift, Double Stud Deal etc.

1. Arturo de Ascanio's concept on transient actions gets supported. The app will now allow you to flag actions as either 'initial', 'in-transit', or 'final'. These three attributes relate to Jesús Etcheverry's book 'The Magic by Ascanio/La Magia de Ascanio', Vol. 1, chapter on 'Timing and its fundamentals'. In this first approach, the colours yellow, red, and cyan (in bold) will be used to mark these action attributes, respectively. Future versions may bring a more sophisticated graphic set. This new addition will help address the 'grammar of deception'.

1. Stacks and Action views are unified into a new, single category named 'Symbols'. The new 'Symbols' category supports both stacks and actions, up to ten of them within a single view.
2. Up to now, Stacks came strictly pairwise, often representing left- and right hands. From now on, the user has full control on the number of stacks or actions within a view. Stacks and Actions can be duplicated, copied, pasted, cleared, moved up- and downwards, and cards can be transferred.
3. Label controls were made available for Stacks and Actions. These label contols allow to assign conditional information such as 'Left' or 'Right', 'Hand' or 'Table', or 'Performer' or 'Spectator'.
4. These two new features make it easier to define and create both context and associations, and they increase the expressive capabilities.
