Women's football.
There is no difference for the boys and the girls in the development and preparation of the goalkeeper. All exercises in this application are intended for both genders, but we have included some examples with women’s goalkeeper. There are 6 packs of warm up and main part exercises with different topics. Other 2 packs show the joint training “men and women”. Because there is not enough goalkeeper coaches in the women’s football, the joint training is the solution for the near future.

The goalkeeper need to have the same level of playing the ball with feet as the players. That’s why a daily work is necessary to develop it.
In this part of the application, you can find exercises created with Jean-Marc Kuentz. He is the former director of the football academy of Racing Club Strasbourg and the assistant coach of the national team of the Ivory Coast during the World Cup in Brazil.

The warm-up
The objective of the warm-up is to prepare the goalkeeper for the main part, but also to prevent injuries. The exercises have to match to the theme of the training. The difficulty and the intensity of the exercises increase gradually allowing a smooth transition to the main part of the training. The warm-up can have different forms: individual, collective, with or without the ball, with or without equipment. The duration of the warm-up depends on some factors:
• the objective of the warm-up
• the form of the warm-up
• the duration (the time the coach has for the warm-up)
• the feelings of the goalkeeper (tiredness, problems…)
• the external conditions (weather, the field…)
