The latest release makes it easier than ever to add games and virtual wagers to your round. When you choose to add a game to your rounds for 2-8 golfers, you will set the format and can add a virtual wager in one simple step. After you’ve added the game and virtual wager(s), you’ll see a summary of the setup and will be ready to start your round. This release also includes:
- update to the Scorecard view so that Quick Scoring mode is the default score-entry method, making it convenient for you to score for your group
- enhancements to the save round experience in the presentation of game and virtual wager results

No need to bring your accountant to the 19th hole. Now, Compete helps you settle your virtual wagers with a comprehensive results view when you save a group round. Players that have not completed scoring, or accepted virtual wager invites, will show as “Scores Pending”. Leave the math to us and spend your time reliving your favorite moments from the outing.

Keep an eye out for these additional upgrades:
- Handicap input now uses a keypad for easy updates to your profile
- Improvements when accepting invites to a group round

- Challenge setup UX has been updated so that you set the amount per game, which is especially helpful for Compete games like Pentagon. As you adjust the per-game amount, the total challenge will update below, so you're clear on how much the total challenge is worth.
- You can now add a guest from your Contacts to auto-populate their information. Tap "Add From Contacts", select your buddy, and their contact info will sync to the round, including First Name, Last Name and Email Address.

Games and Challenges just got better. The Compete team is excited to announce group scoring, games and challenges for up to eight golfers from the PLAY tab. Now you can add a second group in Round Setup, so that your buddies in the next group can battle against your foursome, too. In Round Setup add your second group, then add your friends. You'll be able to review scores and game leaderboards for both groups! Please note that at least one friend in Group Two must score on behalf of their own group.

Head to the PLAY tab and set up your round for 2-8 players for your next tee time!

Left your phone in the car? Is your friend notorious for forgetting to keep their own score? No problem!

Compete now allows you to score for one to three guests from the PLAY tab, so scoring, stats and games can be shared with the entire group. Add a Guest or three in Round Setup, add some Games, and you're on your way to a great round. You can add your buddies emails before, during or after the round if they want a copy of the scorecard, too. If they have an account already, it will be there when they log in. If not, they can create an account and the scorecard will be waiting for them in Round History.

Other features in this release include:
- support for Plus Handicaps, up to +10.0--if you're better than scratch you can head to your profile now to update it
- ability to remove a scorecard from round history and stats--just swipe left on a specific round and you'll have the option to Delete it

Golf season is in full swing and the competition is heating up, with all-new features from GolfNow Compete. We’re excited to announce the addition of virtual challenges to your group rounds and games for 2-4 players. Last release, we gave everyone a chance to compete throughout the entire round with Compete Games. Now you can take your game to the next level by challenging your friends and competing for the #1 spot on the leaderboards.

Adding a Challenge is easy:
• Set up your round in the PLAY tab with 2-4 total golfers
• Add your favorite Compete or Traditional Game(s)
• Add a Virtual Challenge to each game, and an amount for the Challenge Pot
--- The pot will be split across side games evenly for multi-games (Pentagon, Hexagon, Octagon, Nassau)
• Send the Challenge to your friends so they can join in on the fun
• Compete to win and track your standings in the Games & Challenges tab

Your friendly golf game just got a little more competitive. We're excited to introduce Compete Games for groups of 2-4 players. The inspiration behind Compete Games was to give golfers of all skill levels more chances to compete. We believe that competitive golf is the key to improving your skill, pushing yourself to perform, and conquering the space between your ears.

From the first tee shot until the last putt drops, you'll have the opportunity to chase the thrill of victory. Compete Games include:
Pentagon: five games over 18 holes split Holes 1-6, 7-12, 13-18, Par 3s & Par 5s
Hexagon: six games including the five sides of Pentagon, with added excitement for Overall 18 Holes
Octagon: 8 games in total, including all the games from Pentagon plus front & back 9.

For those who want to play the classics, we also have you covered with Traditional Games, bringing your favorite contests to your foursome. You can add a traditional game alongside a Compete game for twice the fun. Traditional Games include:
Medalist: available in Stroke Play as lowest score wins, and Stableford as highest score wins
Nassau: a battle for the crown across the Front 9, Back 9, and Overall 18 Holes
Stableford: available in standard and modified formats, this game is a test to see who can score the most points with scores of Bogey or better
