HSK Flashcards is a study tool for the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi standardized test of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers.

Studying for your test with HSK Flashcards is easy. It does not require you to sign up for anything and is totally free. Simply open the app, select your vocabulary level, and then tap the "Study" button.

Flashcards have 3 sides. One with Hanzi, one with pinyin, and one with English translations. Tap the card to flip it. Swipe right if you remember the word. Swipe left if you forget.

Key features include:

• Hanzi is displayed in large vertical text making it much easier to read.
• Pinyin is accompanied by audio clips to help with pronunciation.
• Three sided flashcards allow focus on Hanzi character recognition, pronunciation, and translation independently.
• Animated swipe-able cards make the app more fun to use.
• You can bookmark words for later review.
• Historic record of grades help to track your progress.
• Practice translating from Chinese to English as well as English to Chinese.

This update adds a shuffle button. You can now mix up the order of flashcards. Shuffle the deck at the beginning of a study session to improve your skills. Shuffle when you are struggling to remember a word so that you can come back to it later.

This update adds an option to change translation direction. You can now practice translating from Chinese to English as well as English to Chinese. After tapping the Study button, select which way you want to study. Practice translating in both directions to improve your language skills.
