Introducing a bigger, better, stronger, faster way to hook up with friends and make new ones along the way. In or Out lets you create your own eVents and post them to the world or just those people you want to invite.
See what’s happening from local friends having a party to concerts, festivals or huge eVents right at home or across the globe.
Want to set up a soccer game next Saturday and need players? In or Out lets you post the soccer eVent globally so that everyone within your geographic area can see the time, place and any other information, including pics, that you want them to see…global eVents can also be pushed directly to your Twitter and Facebook accounts so that whatever your friend’s social poison, they will not be missed! The beauty of it lies in the eVent listing itself. Once someone clicks on your eVent, they have to swipe Right or Left, or Tap and decide if they are IN, OUT or MAYBE. You get detailed stats like guys, girls, etc. Everyone else can see who is going, who might be going, and even who is not going. So no one forgets, INed eVents are automatically sent directly to your calendar.
Don’t want to invite everyone within 100 miles. You don’t have to. Just invite whomever you want from your contact list. They are the only ones who will see the eVent. Talk about party planning…the options are endless!
We haven’t forgotten about everywhere else either. In or Out not only has options for HERE (your location), but also THERE (any other location). If you are in New York, you can see what’s going on in San Francisco with a RIGHT swipe. Drop a pin in the Mission District and you can get even closer. Or, just stay where you are with a LEFT swipe. No matter the location, see what’s happening wherever you are or wherever you want to be. To boot, you can tag an eVent, and it becomes yours. Invite your friends and have a great time!
Need to be specific? In or Out lets you slice eVents any way you want. Certainly you can just search for “Jack White” or “Bar Hop”, but you can also search by time (this week, this weekend), post (people, groups, business), age, gender, category, and geographic radius…and it is really easy to use. Swipe left from the eVent list for all things eVent related. Swipe right for all things related to you, i.e. profiles, followers, etc.
Even if your friends don’t have the app yet, just by inviting them, they get a text (or an email…your choice). They can download it if they want (why not…it is free and really useful!), or if they don’t, you can still manage your eVent from your end and rest assured that your friends will always get the invitation…immediately.

Our recent update was a smashing success, but we didn’t want to stop there so we threw in a couple more enhancements (full disclosure…we also found a bug, but it has been squashed!)
1. We added a simple overlay tutorial for new users when the app is opened for the first time…it is only shown once, but you can always access a detailed tutorial from the right slide menu.
2. We enhanced the posting process that prevented eVents from posting the same day that extended past 12:00 am. Now you can schedule your parties or whatever to start before 12:00 am and end whenever…waaaaaay into the next morning! As a note, we are looking at some UI changes to allow multi-day eVents as well…that one is coming soon.
3. We fixed a little bug that did not save your calendar settings with regard to the First and Second Alerts if you happened to hard close the app (although why would you do that?). Now the settings stay until you change them!
ENJOY and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE…the more people on In or Out, the more fun stuff there will be and the more fun people there will be to do it with!

1. listening to users, we made eVent posting considerably easier…pretty much just push a button.
2. For global eVents, getting your eVent to your Facebook or Twitter page is just as simple…select Facebook and/or Twitter, and you’re done. It just goes. you don’t have to read it again. you don’t have to flip through pics…it just goes!
3. Post with swipe notifications has been added to allow you to get a notification from friends when they swipe on your private eVent. We realized that sometimes if you are having a party, you kind of want to know in real time who is In or Out!
4. We beefed up the tutorial so if you wanted to see detailed instructions, you can…its called In or Out 101 in the right slide menu.
5. you can now resize eVent pics…or run them in a slideshow…just tap!
6. eVents can be copied, so if you have something that is happening again and don’t want to start from scratch, just select the eVent from my eVents, select edit, then select copy in the circle at the bottom…easy-peasy!
7. we are optimized for all the iPhones and made the entire thing a bit faster with some further optimization to geo-location.
8. we also fixed a few minor bugs related to the calendar, contacting friends through the app (you have to know them!), age sliders, initial open and some formatting issues.
We want to thank everyone that has downloaded to date and we hope that not only will you continue to use the app, but share, share and share some more…the more people on there, the more eVents there will be…and probably better ones too!
