-More secure login and signup with 2 factor authentication.
-Bug fixes.
The Intercept App was created so that its users could find out in advance if someone they know will be at their future destinations. A future destination could be a sports event, restaurant, amusement park, school gathering, shopping center, concert, airport layover, festival, holiday resort, tour, coffee shop, or any location that can be identified on a map. Simply add your destination details to the app, and the app will send you a short message whenever someone on your Buddy List also plans to be there. You can add your destinations to the app minutes, days, or weeks ahead of time.
In previous versions, users were required to have a +1 (US) mobile phone number to receive notification messages from the Intercept App. Now, the app has been expanded to accept almost any mobile phone number. Anyone can “pin” their future destinations anywhere in the world on a map, enter when they will be there, and find out when someone on their Buddy List also plans to be near that location. Users can also use the “Filter” to enter the name of a specific destination like Disney, SeaWorld, Steamboat, Staples Center, Bryant-Denny, Ohio Stadium, LAX, FRA, Heathrow and so forth.
You must have people on your Buddy List to get Intercepts – don’t miss an opportunity to meet up with someone you know at your next destination!

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
"Intercept" was originally designed to help airline crews predict which of their friends they might encounter at their layover cities, or while traveling for work. Now, the app has been expanded to include tens of thousands of additional destinations so that anyone can use it to forecast which of their friends, family, or associates might be encountered at future events like trade shows, conventions, concerts, professional or collegiate sporting events, etc. In addition to the original US cities and airports, this release includes categories like:
Major Arenas
Convention/Civic Centers
Major Stadiums (college and pro)
Ski Resorts
Theme Parks
Thousands of cities and airports outside the US
We've also added a function that allows you to define your future destination by using your device's map and placing a "pin" along with your arrival and departure times. If any of your approved contacts plan to be with within a predetermined proximity of your pin while you're there, the app will send you a private message so that you can plan to meet up with them if you choose.
Finally, we've added a short orientation for new users, and some embedded help functions inside the app to explain the new characteristics.
