Intellectual Personal Assistant (IPA) is a fitness tracker for the mind. It allows you to pick from a range of books, articles and movies hand-selected by a group of friends in Boston and pushes you to finish items within two weeks of selecting them. With IPA, you can:

- View times to completion (assuming an average reading and watching speed) for selected movies, books and articles
- Favorite and unfavorite books, movies and articles
- Check how much time has elapsed since favoriting a book, movie or article
- Mark books, articles and movies as completed
- For selected books, go to the Amazon link for purchasing!

After over a month, IPA updates are finally here! The newest version of IPA (2.0) introduces Bartenders, the Bar and first recommenders.

Bartenders and the Bar

Users can follow other users’ recommendations by pressing the “Find Bartenders” option, available in the Profile tab. Search for any bartender by username and then hit the switch next to his or her name to begin following that bartender! You can see this bartender’s beers, recommendations and content completions via The Bar tab. To stop following a bartender, use the “Manage Bartenders” option, also available through the Profile tab.

First Recommender

Think a book recommendation is awesome? From The Bar, hit the book’s icon and then the “First recoed by x” button. You’ll be able to see the user’s last 10 recommendations and beers!

This release also includes several bug fixes and some performance enhancements.

The newest version (1.0.9) of IPA allows you to add a range of books from Amazon or podcasts from iTunes to your To-Read or To-Listen-To list! From the Books or Media tab, select the + icon in the top right of your device and enter a query for the book or podcast you’re looking for. Once the book or podcast appears, hit the heart icon or image of the book or podcast to bring up a menu to add the content to your beers, or recommend it to the IPA team for general consumption. We look forward to seeing your recommendations!

This new version (1.0.6) of IPA adds a filter option on the "Me" view, allowing users to sort their selected content by content they have completed or are planning to consume. Simply tap the Filter icon in the top left after selecting "Me" in the bottom nav, and filter away!

The following bugs were also resolved:

- Scrolling cut off on final item of content lints
- Deleting items from fridge led to stray divider lines
- Progress meter did not increment based on time elapsed since items were added
