Jerry the Bear is a best friend for children with type 1 diabetes.

By taking care of Jerry, this app enables children to gain hands-on experience with diabetes management through play! Kids can feed Jerry foods, administer insulin using a pen or a pump, and check Jerry’s blood sugar.

Jerry the Bear provides comfort and education in a safe environment by focusing on Jerry's simulated diabetes.

Jerry gets a CGM! Open the magnifier to find a new CGM icon. To activate the CGM, first install a sensor to one of Jerry’s sites, then watch the graph of Jerry’s blood sugar update as Jerry’s body processes carbs and insulin! Time moves a bit faster in Jerry’s world, so you’ll need to replace the sensor every few days.

Say hello to Cori the Mailbox! Cori delivers virtual mail from the character's you meet in Jerry's Stories! As you progress through the storybooks and play in Jerry's World, you might receive some letters from George the Shark, Momo the Monkey, and more of Jerry's friends.

This patch release fixes a bug on new, very wide aspect ratio phones (iPhone X, XR, XS, XS Max) that pushed some of Jerry's tools off the screen. That's the only fix for now, so if you don't have one of these devices, stay tuned for our next update!
