KoI service is an application that supports tourists who visit Kyoto by distributing sightseeing spots, events, shops and local information recommended by residents of Kyoto.


You can get information such as upcoming events and local information, stores (restaurants, cafés, experiential facilities, retail shops, accommodations, etc.) recommended by residents of Kyoto.

Where are the recommended places to go this weekend?
Where are the shops that welcome foreign tourists?
Which stores are open? Is there a discount?
You can get information you want to know since you came to Kyoto.
Even without Wi-Fi, you can view information, maps and coupon information from stores.

When approaching a store / facility, you can obtain information that matches you such as sightseeing purpose, gender, age by push notification.

The display of Japanese and English can be switched.

【What is KoI service?】
This application is an IoT service using a smartphone and beacon transmitters.
Beacon transmitters are placed in shops, accommodation facilities, sightseeing places etc.
When a foreign tourist approaches, the application catches the signals of the transmitter, displays coupons and advertisements of shops, guidance information to the store, etc.
This application will acquire attribute information of the user in order to distribute information suitable for the tourist's purpose, the country of origin, sex, age etc.
