"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

Update 2.1.1 - Way faster to add a meal. You can now delete a meal if you accidentally post doubles (or want to post a better photo.) Commenting on meals is faster. Improved navigation (on the bottom, easier to access!) Fixed a rare signup crash on the profile view.
=====
It's been 3 months since being in the App Store. We now have over 250 people tracking their meals with Kale. We've heard from all over the world that tracking your meals has helped you focus on your diet and make smarter, healthier choices. But we're still learning. We will always continue questioning... questioning how much better can we make this, how much more can we help, and how can we inspire people to live healthier.
This update to Kale has been entirely redesigned for clarity and speed. You can now see when people comment on your meals. It's faster than ever to snap a quick photo of your meal. And we've made a beautiful way to look at your past meals, to see how you can improve.
- Logging Meals
Speed is key here, so now the camera pops up immediately. You can still select an older photo, or use no photo at all. The photos start uploading in the background as you take them, so you can get back to enjoying your meal as fast as possible.
- Logging in and Signing up
It's faster, and easier to understand. If there are errors with signing up, you'll know what to do to fix it.
- Updating your profile
You can now tell the world what your health goals are, by stating it in your profile. If you're working with a coach, trainer, or dietitian, you can now share with them what your goals are to make it easier to give you useful advice.
- Speeeeeed!
Kale has to pull data from the web app all the time. To speed this up, we've continued to add more caching (keeping local) to certain pieces of content (user profile information) to make things speed up.
