Performance optimisations for supporting latest iOS versions.

With this version we improved the remote control capabilities. The bandwidth used for a LU-Smart transmission can now be controlled remotely from LiveU Central.
We are also displaying now the selected encoding type in the unit control panel from the unit list and we fixed a user interface bug visible when the smartphone is in light mode.

We fixed the issue when app does not connect via Web Socket to the HUB on port 80 - app remains in offline state

We've been laboring almost half of 2018 to deliver you the most powerful version of LiveU Smart ever!

No sense in burying the lead. Smart now supports HEVC Encoding. Just like our LU600 and New LU300 product lines you can enjoy the power of HEVC: better quality video at lower bit-rates. This is both a data savings AND will ensure that even in challenging bandwidth situations you're ready to rock the airwaves with the highest quality video that can be delivered. This setting is defaulted on, but we even added logic to it-- so if you're streaming to an older server that doesn't support HEVC (Version 6.4 and lower) we automatically fallback to H.264! All captured files are recorded in H.264 for compliance with editing systems and Applications. HEVC not for you? No worries- you can manually disable it in the Advanced settings menu.

While we’re still talking about high quality, we’ve added true 50 and 60 FPS encoding modes for 720 and 1080. This means we can deliver true 60 FPS to the SDI output on compatible LU2000. To save battery life we’ve got this setting disabled by default but can be turned on easily in the Advanced Settings menu. With the setting disabled we will continue to frame double 50 and 60 FPS outputs as we have done in previous version of Smart.

Last year we debuted the ability to change the gain of external audio devices, this year we’ve extended that feature to include the gain of the internal microphone as well! This means you’ll be able to manually control the audio gain of all audio inputs to LiveU Smart.

We made lots of enhancements on the Channels drop-down including the ability to search for a channel by name, star favorite channels so they are always at the top, display the full channel name (when you’ve got a really long channel name) and other small user interface tweaks to ensure the best experience possible.

We also improved usability when working with your video files: you can now copy video files from email to Smart, select stored files for deletion or export, based on check-boxes and even select multiple files from your gallery and import in Smart

Among a lot of other bug fixes and improvements, we added two features for our most advanced users who use might be using Smart in extremely remote situations requiring BGAN. A SAT mode and the ability to use low delay IFB. Both are defaulted off, but in situations using BGAN (or other extremely latent but guaranteed networks) SAT mode needs to be enabled for proper Smart operation.

Last but not least, Smart is now fully compatible with latest iOS versions, and with latest iPhone devices
