Marple is a game of logic and deduction. The playing field consists of 20 tiles arranged in 4 rows of 5 columns each and a set of clues. The goal of the game is to figure out the correct order of those 20 tiles using the given clues by process of elimination.

There are four different types of clues: "In between", "Left of", "Same column" and "Next to". "In between" clue tells that the middle tile has to be located in between the other two. It however does not tell the order of the other two tiles or how far they are from the middle one. "Left of" clue tells that the left tile has to be located left of the right tile. It however does not tell how far apart they are. "Same column" clue tells that the two tiles have to be on the same column. "Next to" clue tells that the two tiles are adjacent to each other. It however does not tell the order of the two tiles.

Had to switch from using OpenFeint to Game Center because OpenFeint service will be shut down. I'm terribly sorry about this, the news about OpenFeint closing down came unexpectedly and with a very short notice. This change has some unfortunate side effects:
* Personal stats are only migrated for the first person logging into Game Center inside Marple. Since there exists no mapping between OpenFeint and Game Center accounts, Marple will migrate stats from the most active OpenFeint profile.
* Only some achievements can be migrated to Game Center so you'll have to earn some of them again.
* Global hiscores are reset.

Again, I'm truly sorry about this! I know how important those stats are for you (and me)!

iPhone 5 and iOS6 support added.

- Missing your old statistics? Now there is a way of importing your statistics from an earlier version if you declined OpenFeint upon first launch. See the Troubleshooting section in the application help for instructions.
- Now you can play Marple properly without registering with OpenFeint. If you haven't registered, statistics will still work and you can enter your hiscore name manually.
- Added challenge mode. In challenge mode you cannot select the puzzle, cannot restart the puzzle and cannot see the current puzzle number. Only hiscores obtained in challenge mode will be sent to OpenFeint. Note that the old online hiscores (full of cheaters) are now replaced by the challenge mode hiscores.
- Increased the hint and warning penalty.
- Added "Start in game view" setting. Enable it to start Marple immediately in game view.

Please note that you need to accept OpenFeint upon first launch in order to import your statistics from previous version. Version 2.0.1 is already submitted to AppStore. It will enable you to import the statistics afterwards as well.

In this version your hiscore name will always be "(unknown user)" if you haven't registered with OpenFeint. In the 2.0.1 update you can play Marple properly even without registering (statistics work and you will be prompted to enter your hiscore name manually).
