The Matataiora Maramataka is a Ngāti Maniapoto lunar calendar system that was used to guide us with times to plant, hunt and fish. In our modern times, we can adapt this Mātauranga to how we interact with our Taiao (environment), how we nurture our Hinengaro (mindset), how we engage with Tāngata (others), and how we care for our Tinana (bodies).



We share our Mātauranga with all who wish to learn in the hope that we can support the health, wellbeing, and happiness of all whānau throughout Aotearoa.
