Hey Folks!

Got a fairly big update coming your way this time. New in 2021.4 is:

- Drafts
Save your in-progress posts and return to them later.

- Delete and re-draft
Delete your posts and open them up in a new compose window to correct any typos of meanings. Any attached media will be kept and can be removed or added to when re-composing.

- Follower alerts
Get notifications when select followers post new statuses. With version 3.3.0 of Mastodon, you're able to selectively enable alerts to be notified when people you follow post a status. This option will be available in Mercury for people you follow if your instance supports this feature.

- Replies and thread view
When viewing a status' details, you can now switch between the thread and replies for that status.

- Keep CW posts open
This one does what it says on the tin. When you reveal text behind a content warning, scrolling away and coming back will not re-hide the text.

Other fixes:
- Fixed an issue that prevented logging in to Pleroma
- Cleaned up some UI things
- Hopefully fixed a background crash that would prevent the timelines from loading properly on launch

Thank you all so much for your recent feedback. 2021.3 brings the following changes:

- Polls! You can now add polls to your posts.
- Fixed an issue that would prevent the keyboard from popping up immediately when composing a new post.
- Added the ability to log in to a Pleroma instance with Mercury.
- Adjusted the account switcher to show the instance domain of each account. For those who have the same name across multiple instances, it should now be easier to see which instance to switch to.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing the viewing of hashtags with non-Latin characters.
- Fixed a handful of crashes that occurred while scrolling through and changing the timeline.

Hey everyone! Another quick update that fixes an issue for people who first installed the previous version of the app that prevented them from remaining logged in. Apologies for the frequent updates around this!

Hey folks! Hope your year is off to a good start.

This update includes a handful of bug fixes. Including: 

- a fix for an issue a couple of people ran in to where they were constantly being logged out whenever the app was terminated in the background
- a fix for clearing single notifications from the notifications screen
- a couple of small fixes for the explore / search tab

This update includes a bunch of small bug fixes as well as some UX improvements.

- Switch timelines from the timeline view:
There's now a button in the header of the timeline view that will allow you to switch timelines without going back to the home menu

- Share extension:
You can now share up to 4 photos or a URL via Mercury's share extension

- Recents widget:
A medium sized home screen widget that shows 3 of your latest favourites or bookmarks as well as any recent (in the last 24 hours) notifications or any unread conversations.

Please note, this update makes some changes to the way that logged in accounts are stored locally. If you run in to any issues with authentication, please try uninstalling and re-installing the app. I've tested as many of the scenarios as I can think of but apologies if you do run in to an issue here.

Smallish update here that fixes a few crashes on the search and edit profile screens as well as adding a few more bits;

- Added an option to set the screen the app starts up to after being inactive for a while, allowing you to bypass the timeline selection list.
- Added a few more app icons.
- Added an option when creating custom filters in the app to still show the filtered toot, but hide it behind a content warning.

1.4.2. brings a new explore screen and a couple of small bug fixes and support for iOS14 in a couple of areas I missed earlier.

The explore screen uses the directory of profiles that your instance is aware of to show a list of profiles ordered by their most recently posted status. In addition to this, you can now see a list of suggested accounts to follow based on previous positive interactions.

This update adds some new features, fixes some bugs and makes use of the new Photo Picker.

This update also adds some bonus things for people who leave a tip as a way to say thank you; namely some new app icons and the ability to display trending tags on the timelines screen.

The full list of updates includes:
- Conversations (direct messages) now have their own tab! You can view and reply to conversations in a thread more easily now as well as see which conversations have unread replies.
- Make use of the new Photo Picker API added in iOS14.

This update includes a couple of pesky bug fixes as well as an overhaul of how people can interact with the app using Voice Over.

A detailed list of all the changes for your reading pleasure:

Added more Voice Over support;
- All actions on a status are now accessible via custom actions.
- Custom actions on statuses can be re-ordered to surface the more frequently used actions.
- Voice Over labels on the compose screen have been updated to better reflect the state of buttons on that screen.
- Voice Over on profile screens has been streamlined a bit so it's easier to skim through a larger profile.

The smaller bits;
- The design of the profile pages has been uplifted.
- Added two more colour schemes.
- Fixed @-mention selection on the compose screen.
- Statuses from muted users are now removed from the timeline.
- Refreshed some of the settings screens.
- Hopefully fixed a handful of annoying crashes.

Hey everyone, another smallish release here to address a handful of niggling issues while some bigger bits are being worked on in the background.

This release includes the following changes:
- Better voice over support for switching accounts. You'll now know which account is currently selected.
- Some decluttering of the compose screen to better make use of space on smaller screens.
- Hopefully fixed an annoying crash caused by the currently logged in session expiring and Mercury failing to pick up on that change. You should now be presented with the login screen in this case if you have no other logged in accounts. If anyone is still having an issue with this after this release, please let me know.

Hey folks!

This update addresses a handful of issues kindly reported over the last few weeks :)

- Adds support for follow requests and correctly displays follow request notifications.
- Hopefully fixes an issue with pulling to refresh sometimes leaving a large gap at the top of the screen until a scroll is initiated.
- Adds icons to the notifications list to make them easier to differentiate.
- Persist security settings on replies to match the status they're replying to by default (this can be still be changed while composing)

In amongst all this, I have also been working on some sweeping changes that will allow for snappier scrolling in the timeline, better timeline filtering as well as experimenting with a new layout for a better user experience. When these bits become more concrete, I will share them @[email protected] account along with details for the TestFlight if anyone wants to take a look.

- Support for multiple accounts. Long press on the profile tab or tap your profile image on the main menu to add a new account or switch to an existing account.
- Better login experience that doesn't require you to copy/paste a token ;)

- UI polish (adjusted the weight of icons in the toolbar and swipe actions, adjusted some spacing on the profile tab)
- Fixed an issue that would leave the app in an incorrect state if authentication was lost with an instance

Hey there! Super minor bug fix here that addresses an issue with a crash in the bookmarks and list views.

I'm currently in the midst of adding multi-account support, so stay tuned for that :)

(N.B. creating a new list or adding followers to a list does not bring their previously posted statuses in to the list)

- A race condition that caused a crash when setting a custom filter and switching back to the timeline quickly

Hey there! Here with only a small update to deal with a crash and a few weird UI things.

Specifically it addresses:
— A crash when displaying a poll with 0 votes.
— The app not handing back audio to the system after a video is dismissed.
— The count of likes/boosts being incorrectly displayed as 0 after a post has been liked/boosted. Unless of course the posts did only have 0 likes/boosts, in which case it was all working correctly ;)
— Adds the ability to report accounts
