Added option to choose between transmitting MIDI data to all receivers or to create a CoreMIDI virtual output port for use in other apps that supported named connections.
Use the "Transmit MIDI Port" switch to choose between "Omni" sending MIDI data to all CoreMIDI apps (matches previous versions of MIDIFlute) or "Virtual Port" sending to a named CoreMIDI virtual output port. When the "Virtual Port option is selected, MIDIFlute will show up as an input option in apps that support virtual ports like Universal Piper, Sonosaurus ThumbJam, and MidiBridge. "Omni" mode is selected by default.
Now works with "Universal Piper" by enabling the Virtual MIDI transmit port and making the following settings:
In MIDI Chanter, enable the "Virtual Port" MIDI output, and set a -4 Chanter transpose.
In Universal Piper, enable Background Play, Drone Auto ON/OFF, MIDI Chanter, and select "Degerpipe - Extended" as the MIDI Chanter to use.
Refresh the MIDI inputs and when MIDIChanter shows up, enable it by clicking on the dot next to the name (should turn green)
You should now be able to play the app with Universal Piper like any other hardware MIDI practice chanter.

Q: I just updated my iPad to iOS 6.0.1 and I'm stuck at the help screen!
A: Apple messed up the restoration of the Mute/Orientation switch state after the update. Please visit http://www.tradlessons.com/ios601mutefix.html or the app's website for a simple fix.

AirPipes now only supports CoreMIDI-compatible interfaces or virtual MIDI instruments like IK Multimedia SampleTank® for iOS or Sonosaurus ThumbJam running on your iPad.
Note: This version no longer supports the pre-CoreMIDI DSMIDI-WiFi server based wireless MIDI any more. If you're want to keep using DSMIDI-WiFi, please don't update to this new version. (But you really should, the CoreMIDI version is so much more useful in so many ways and works with so many more devices and software synths for iOS...)
