This update future-proofs some display code that doesn't appear to be causing issues in Miximum, but has caused crashes in PlayTally.

Fixed bug with the initial state of the star rating filter.

This update includes minor iPad UI improvements, including fixes for issues in Split View.

Today's update improves and expands upon sorting functionality when viewing collections (albums, artists, etc.) within a mix or playlist.

I've seen comments that folks are having issues with mixes "just being blank". And I think this is due to an issue affecting mix refreshing when creating/editing parameters and rules. Mixes now refresh every time that pane is dismissed, so you should see all those wonderful songs every time!

Fixes the display bug plaguing many iPad users.

Sorry everyone, it's been difficult to get out updates recently. This is a pretty routine maintenance update that resolves a few iOS 15-specific issues. Most importantly the annoying swipe-to-dismiss rules bug!

• Fixes a bug where certain rules were not working correctly in their default (newly created) state. The fix applies to rules created moving forward, but will not effect existing ones. If you have any rules that do not seem to be working correctly, specifically re-setting the predicate type (is, is not, etc.) should correct the issue.

• New Rule: Lossless Music Only! Whoooo!
• No, I don't know how to filter for Spatial Audio yet.

• Song duration parameter now supports minutes and seconds. Finally!!

• Miximum has always used the Crashlytics platform (originally Fabric/Twitter, then Firebase/Google) to identify the sources of crashes and stability issues. Version 1.5.6 drops this support in favour of the built-in iOS crash support which now provides most of the original benefits. This change has NOT been made because of any security or privacy issues or concerns, but it is nice to remove another potential now-mostly-redundant source of failure. You won't notice any changes. But I will; please consider enabling "Share with App Developers" in your Analytics & Improvements settings!

This update includes expanded contextual menus for collections (Play Next and Play Later have been added to the play and shuffle controls) and a new menu for individual songs with some handy new functionality :)

New rules:
• Include songs that are part of your library.
• Include songs that are NOT part of your library.

• Updated Crashlytics to the latest version.
• Made some ASO updates.

• Minor bug fixes. I know everyone hates that, but there's really no better way to describe it.

It's been great to see that users are enjoying version 1.5!
This build fixes issues with grouping tracks by genre.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Rebuild it? I think the Paw Patrol said that. Version 1.5 doesn't make any serious departures in feature set, but most elements have been rebuilt better using new UI elements introduced in iOS 13 and 14. Plus, a few new improvements:

EXCLUDE SOURCES
Now in addition to selecting playlist sources to be included in mixes, you can define sources whose songs should always be excluded from the final results.

EXPANDED MINIPLAYER
Miximum now includes the same swipeable miniplayer as Cs Music.

CONTEXTUAL MENUS
New contextual menus make it a little easier to play or shuffle a mix or playlist without having to navigate into it.

IPAD!
Finally, full support for iPad.

UI REFINEMENTS
Made some design improvements consistent with the emerging visual language of Cs/Miximum/PlayTally.

CLOUD DRIVE SYNC
Fixed issues affecting some/probably most/maybe all cloud sync users.

Just a few crash fixes and some tweaks to displaying the Touch Bar. A more comprehensive tune up is planned soon!

• NEW sort option: release date. If a song doesn't have a tagged release date, the "year" field will be used instead.
• Fixed a bug causing some saving glitches after deleting a rule.

NEW mix rules: Most Recently Played and Least Recently Played.

Tweaked the model pane designs to be more in line with SongOwl and the modern iOS aesthetic. Specifically:
• Mix edit panes now use the iOS 13 card presentation type. This makes them a little larger, brighter, and especially allows for more gesture-based interaction so that the UI can be less cluttered (no more nav bar!)
• Similar updates to the settings and pro panes.

Quick update!
• I've just become aware of a new... idiosyncrasy of iOS 13.4 that was causing the shuffle commands to no longer work. That line of code has moved to a new home, and things should be working once again.
• At the same time (at user request) years have been added to time based rules like "Last Played".
• If you missed version 1.3 you haven't heard about rule groups! Details below :)

What does this mean? Well, there's a few different ways to look at it: mixes are much more powerful. You can now create multiple groupings of rules that each calculate their own independent results, which are then combined. Other way to look at this? A new rule grouping is *as* powerful as each mix previously was. So rule groups are functionally the same as combining mixes!

Here's a couple things to know:
- Rules in your existing mixes will be grouped automatically.
- Previously, the default rule setting was to "Match All". That makes sense for multiple rules, but when combining rule groupings "Match Any" is usually best. If you are having issues with results, try changing that setting at the mix level.

Minor bug fixes and improvements. Seriously, some of them are for issues that haven't even happened (but did in SongOwl).

Removed some substring parsing from search. Substring parsing breaks apart your query, so you could search "friends ballad", and get "The Ballad of Me and My Friends." I applied this to all evaluated fields which, in retrospect, was foolish. It could add a ton of "false positives" that maybe included a common term like "the" in an unrelated field. Stupid, right? Good thing I don't code medical equipment. Anyway, substring parsing now applies (much more sensibly) ONLY to song names; so those confusing false positives should no longer appear.
