NatureCounts allows participants in citizen science programs in Canada to submit their sightings to Birds Canada.
The NatureCounts app is the complement to the NatureCounts web site operated by Birds Canada (https://naturecounts.ca). The app can be used by participants in select citizen science programs to submit their bird sightings. Participants are required to obtain a free account on NatureCounts in order to use the app. Your sightings from citizen science programs help Birds Canada achieve its mission to conserve wild birds. Observations from all participants and results from the survey programs can be accessed on the NatureCounts web site.
Note that we are currently supporting data submission for Breeding Bird Atlas projects, and we hope to add more surveys in the future.
