In order to keep the public informed about food safety and sanitation at Orange County’s restaurants and markets, Environmental Health Food Program provides a comprehensive Public Notification System. The system has four components:
1. Printed inspection report available at the food facility
2. Inspection Notification Seals
3. Award of Excellence incentive program
4. Easy-to-use web page

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Version 2 is a temporary app to bridge the gap for version 1 users, as Orange County Environmental Health is transitioning from current version 1 app to a feature-rich public portal website. The new public portal website will allow all food program search capabilities of current version 1 app plus several other user-friendly features. The new public portal website is planned to go live in the spring of 2017.
The main goal of this version 2 app is to provide the resources for the public to continue to be able to run the food program search during the transition period.
