Nowadays, companies are becoming increasingly aware of the significance of effective ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. The major challenge lies in engaging everyone within the organization. When we engage with an employee, a supplier, or even a shareholder, we often realize that traditional training methods are falling short. Knowledge in the field of sustainability or ESG has expanded greatly. And when this occurs, the organization's commitments are naturally not met. Imagine the range of issues that can arise due to a lack of knowledge. Therefore, we know that inadequate training hampers commitment to goals.
Play4ESG develops games that turn training into a fun and engaging journey, driven by performance in quiz-based missions within the game.
However, during our journey, we realized that gamification applied solely to theoretical training wasn't sufficient to transform teams. So, we went beyond awarding points and prizes solely based on teams' knowledge levels. We created real-world missions where players started earning points and rewards for performing activities, such as avoiding workplace accidents, bringing innovative sustainability ideas, promoting circular economy by reducing waste, preventing racial issues and all forms of discrimination, among others. This approach increased commitment to company objectives. Gamification in theory and practice, focused on ESG: Play4ESG is the only one with this approach. If you liked it, press play and move on!
