This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Plot is now free! Our goals to build tools and a community around movie discovery work far better when more people are involved, so we're removing all barriers to entry.
For past members who've paid, THANK YOU. We've got you all in our original-fan group, and have various benefits planned for the future. As always, share any feedback you have for Plot with us — [email protected].
So, to welcome our new friends and taking on board all of your fantastic feedback so far, we've made several key improvements.
• We improved the onboarding introduction. If you're already a member, you'll likely never see this... sorry. But we are now recommending active members to new arrivals, so keep the top quality reviews coming.
• We've made various performance improvements including faster feeds, profiles, notifications and search. (We had to remove live search results for this one, it just wasn't performing well enough).
• A glitch has been fixed where the second line of a the comment you are typing would disappear. All words now visible in all their glory.
• The app no longer burns to the ground when the connection drops. 10000% improved experience on train journeys.

- Can't decide what to watch? Friends gone quiet on their recommendations? Us too. That's why we built Collections. A set of curated movies lists spanning a variety of categories. Check them out in the Discover tab.
- No more double checking upcoming movie profiles for release dates, we've got your back. Simply add a film to your Watchlist and we'll now notify you when it's out in your country's cinemas.
- Each movie profile now collects all its reviews from those you follow. No one wants to accidentally watch Gigli or The Core.
- No more spoilers! Tag your plot ruining comment or review with "#spoiler" and be safe in the knowledge that everyone will have to tap-to-reveal to see it.
- Select your country (in profile settings) to see localised release date information for each movie.
- With a larger set of notifications available, it's only right that we let you decide what you receive. Check out notification settings in profile settings.
- With better notification handling, if you enter the app via a notification, we show you exactly what you came to see.
- The reviews you attach to a movie post are now also attached to the tweet if you choose to share on Twitter.
- Running time now visible in the movie info section.
