The purpose of our app is to lower the barriers to activism for Kentuckians. Kentuckians will easily be able to access information about who is running for State House and State Senate in their area, and what the candidates are about (in terms of education, healthcare, labor, and wages). Users will also be able to track issues they care about that are being discussed in the Kentucky Legislature. Users will be able to read about the issues in laymans terms, and then decide to call and/or email their legislator about the issue. We want to make it easier for Kentuckians to engage in advocacy so they can take a larger part in shaping their future.
