This app is used by caregivers to manage all features of the RAZ Memory Cell Phone, a super
easy-to-use phone used by thousands of seniors with memory loss, dementia, Alzheimer’s and
those who prefer a simple experience. The cell phone includes one screen only and calls are
placed by tapping a picture.


This app allows you, the caregiver, to control all features and functions of the RAZ Memory Cell
Phone from your smartphone, no matter where you are. Specifically, you can do the following:
• Create and edit the contacts.
• Place video calls to your senior.
• Block unwanted calls, only allowing your senior’s contacts to call the RAZ Memory Cell
Phone.
• Create a separate list of permitted callers who can call the senior even when incoming
calls care limited to those from contacts. These are people who can call the senior but
whom the senior cannot call.
• Prevent your senior with dementia from calling during certain hours of the day, such as in
the middle of the night.
• Set reminders that will appear on the RAZ Memory Cell Phone, with the option to also
create audio reminders.
• Receive text message notifications when the battery level of the RAZ Memory Cell
Phone decreases to a specified level.
• Set the RAZ Memory Cell Phone to automatically answer incoming phone calls (the
senior will not need to press “Answer”).
• Disable the power button so that the senior cannot turn off the phone.
• Set the RAZ Memory Cell Phone to automatically answer calls on speakerphone.
• Check the location of the cell phone, the battery status, and the network connection.
• Change the way that the senior places or answers calls. For example, calls can be
initiated by a tap of the contact’s picture, a double tap, a tap and hold … etc.
• Change the ringtone and/or the ringtone volume.
• Check the RAZ Memory Cell Phone’s call history.
• Change the cell phone’s background from white to black.
• Manage repetitive 911 calling with the RAZ Emergency Service. Dispatch agents will
know that the caller suffers from memory loss and caregivers will be notified of
emergency calls by text message.

With the RAZ Memory Cell Phone there are no applications or settings to cause
confusion. No notifications or operating system updates. No voicemail. No
distractions. Simply tap the picture of the person you wish to call. That’s it. You,
the caregiver, use the RAZ Care app to remotely manage all features of the phone.
