The SAMIView (Satellite Mission Viewer) app displays a 3D satellite model and shows a dynamic exploded view of the internal parts of the satellite
The current version of the app is tailored to the ESA Earth Observation mission Sentinel-2.

SAMIView allows to visualise:
- Sun illumination and shadowing on the satellite model, which can be examined with free rotation
- Satellite parts, inspected making use of dynamic exploded view and zooming mechanisms
- Data values associated to the satellite units (e.g. temperature, voltage,..), changing with time
- Textual information attached to each of the satellite parts
