— User Stories

For those who care about their weight, having a dedicated, straightforward app can be very valuable.

However, most of the recent weight tracking apps ask you to set a goal, try to motivate you to reach it, and send you notifications. While this may work for some people, this might make others feel pressured, which can have the opposite effect on their progress.

With ScaleBook, you don’t set goals. You just log your weight every time you weigh yourself. The app will calculate how your weight evolved over the last week, month, or year and display a trend graph to help you make objective decisions.

ScaleBook is now optimized for iOS 13 and the latest iPhone models, and most importantly supports dark mode! Users who previously tipped can select a custom theme, otherwise the theme will match the system settings.

• You can now select a custom date and time when saving your weight.
• You can now edit and delete entries after saving them. Simply tap on the item you want to delete to open the new details screen, and make the changes from there.

To support our development, we launched a Tip Jar, that you can contribute to in order to unlock advanced features such as:

• Creating custom filters for your data

• Users in EU locales couldn’t input fractional weights properly.
• Crash on launch on unsupported devices.
• Crash after changing the weight in the Health app while ScaleBook is running.
• The app displayed “no data” when reopening it after a long period of time.
• In App Purchases could not be made because of a server issue.
• The Privacy Policy link could not be clicked in the setup card.
