Wodonga Senior Secondary College utilises an online School Portal which is used to support a three-way partnership between the classroom teacher, parents and their child.

Our School Portal is continually developed to keep parents and guardians informed of their child's learning and progression through their senior secondary education.

The School Portal provides the following functionality:
° view and download student progress reports
° attendance - pre-approval and approval of unexplained absences
° student activities - provide consent for excursions
° payments - access and pay for subject and activity fees
° teacher and house leader contacts
° view student timetable
° notifications center

Bug fixes for side menu and linking to staff and students.

Ability to view teachers classes and timetable for staff members, including your own class and timetable details if you have one. Students and teacher listings are now loaded in a single call with profile images downloaded and cached as they are viewed. Bug fix for image caching where the application would become overloaded.

Previewing of images that are attached to notifications are now displayed on the notification list, you can tap an image to view a larger version of the attached image. Attempts to enforce the user to enter the username and password rather than relying on auto complete or spell check. The counter system is now cached and will display the counter for menu items and load the updated values in the background. Some sizing issues have been fixed for buttons which were unusually large in some views.

Access to curriculum sites and resources now available to staff, students and families through the app. Ability to view site content is broken down into folders and when clicking on a specific page it will render as a PDF to download as a local document.

Notification attachments can now be downloaded directly through the app, requires the user to confirm access to save files to the device. Some performance changes have been added to cache some data locally. Clearing any cached data can be accessed through the about menu option.

Implemented a counter prompt to let users know about items that may need attention for a child/dependent. Fixed the ordering of reports for a student showing the most recent at the top, but you can also reverse the order of reports by tapping the title. You can now view all activities a student has been part of rather than just future activities or activities that ran in the last month.
