The app provides students many ways to express themselves visually. The variety of tools will help them discover the strategies they are most comfortable using.

Use the Thinking Journal to help students go step-by-step through their thought process when solving a math problem. You can create a PDF document with screenshots, photos taken from the camera and typed or dictated text. Then, email or print the finished product.

Schoolkit Math also has a Math Challenge that quizzes students on math facts. Future updates will include more activities like this.

The app has NO IN-APP PURCHASES or outside advertising. There is a banner ad on the favorites page that will showcase other Schoolkit Apps projects in a way that is appropriate for elementary school students.

Schoolkit Math is a useful and convenient tool to help students express abstract math concepts visually.

NumberLine: You can now swipe to move along the number line.

Hundreds Chart: There is now an eraser next to the color palette button. Press the eraser button and drag your finger across a box in the Hundreds Chart to erase its color. Then press the eraser button again to return to your previous color. There is also an indicator under the color palette button that shows the current selected color.

2 New Tools:

Bar Graph Tool: Drag your finger across the graph to change the bar height. You can also add labels and adjust the bar colors.

Shapes Tool: Add shapes to the board. Current shapes include: circles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, pentagons, hexagons, octagons and hearts. You can change the color of the shapes and also adjust the size and rotation of the shape by placing two fingers on the shape and dragging across the screen. There are more shapes coming soon.
