An update that is out of this world. We’ve redesigned the interface, updated Solar System graphics (with Jupiter’s Galilean moons to enjoy!) and added new features to tie into the Invisible Universe theme for this year’s National Science Week event. In particular we have added a simplified version of LIGO to detect gravitational waves (as well as GW Maps showing how much sky needs to be searched by telescopes after LIGO ‘hears’ an event), a behind-the-scenes look at the FLEET labs that are creating new low-powered electronics for next generation computing and a comparison between your favourite celestial objects.
