* Auras and reactions/interrupts that are passive in nature can now execute even if a creature is confused, stunned, paralyzed or frightened. Not all auras are affected since not all of them are completely passive. For example, Cloak of Blades requires the character to swing a weapon in order to do the attacks, so confused, stunned, paralyzed or frightened characters will still be unable to execute cloak of blades attacks. Cloak of Fear is simply a magical aura which has effects on enemies who are in it regardless of whether the character with the aura is able to take actions. You will be able to tell if a power can be used while suffering from these conditions because it will say "Can be used regardless of conditions" in the description. Of course this change will apply to some monster powers as well.

* fixed issue where some saved games from version 1.1.2 or earlier could not be loaded. In some cases powers and skills will be reset so the player will need to choose skills and powers again.
* New warriors start out with protective armor and weapon expertise discipline skills so that warriors will only have one choice to make if they want to quick start (as they did previously). Of course experienced players may choose to reset skills and powers in order to customize their starting build.
* Weapon and Implement Proficiencies have been consolidated into one discipline skill each so players don't need to spend a discipline skill to equip the awesome weapon upgrade they found (higher level characters will get to pick replacement skills if they had higher weapon proficiencies already trained)
* Spell precision bonus increased to +2 per 4 discipline skills to match the warrior version
* Threat log messages should now say the correct message (previously it said the target was enraged by the target)
* increased damage on power attack III to be more consistent with power attack I and II.
* Traps that won't be set off by a player will no longer cause the player to step carefully (i.e. if the player is flying over a pit trap)

* Removed experience penalty for death. Characters with negative experience will be restored to 0 experience toward next level.
* Some powers and skills were rebalanced (generally making characters potentially stronger)

* Dual Wielding is now more effective
* Sneaking now only reduces speed by 1, making it more worth the sneak bonus
* Vulnerability to damage is now more effective. This is a two-edged sword so beware!
* Training warrior discipline skills will result in significantly more hit points
* Training mage discipline skills will result in significantly more mana.
* Armor proficiencies have been consolidated into a single skill
* New warriors now get to choose 2 skills in addition to the 2 powers the normally get upon character creation (they no longer need to use 3 skills just to wear all armor types)
* Some monsters and traps were adjusted to make them more balanced. Among others changes, the Gelatinous Cube paralysis will no longer be nearly so inescapable.
* Some monsters have had immunities replaced with resistances. An early example of this is the dreaded black slime which is no longer immune to physical. Warriors shall rejoice!
* Characters now have more chances to recover from effects such as stunning and paralysis
* Monsters give more experience now, especially champions and bosses, so leveling should be faster.
* The sale price cap for selling items now increases as characters level, so getting enough gold to buy worthwhile items should be easier.
* Many potions have been adjusted, including increasing the durations. I highly recommend buffing up before battle! Hint: detect monsters scrolls are great for knowing ahead of time where the tough battles will be.
* Stone Golems are much stronger now making summoning more worthwhile at higher levels
