👹 Прекрасная игра для ценителей!
"Школоте не понять" - расхожее в интернете выражение тут действительно уместно .)
Игра для ценителей старой школы РПГ. К графике - вернее, её отсутствию - очень быстро привыкаешь. И начинаешь получать удовольствие от огромного мира, запутанных подземелий, напряженных битв, разнообразных квестов и всего того, за что мы любим настоящие РПГ. Автор игры - её настоящий фанат, трудится который год, выпускает обновления, добавляет возможности по просьбам игроков, общается на форуме и так далее. Я не знаю, как выглядела эта игра в 2011 году, но сейчас она прекрасна по своему наполнению.
Итого:
1. Нужно привыкнуть к управлению всё равно, даже если вы закаленный РПГ-игрок "старой школы": стрелочки, масса текста и огромный мануал - мы от этого уже отвыкли. Нужно приложить усилия вначале.
2. Вам будет СИЛЬНО проще, если вы в общих чертах знакомы с механикой AD&D - впрочем, рядом с непонятной цифрой и аббревиатурой THAC0 есть пояснение в процентах + для всех основных вопросов есть мануал.
3. Без среднего знания английского играть вы не сможете. Игра на три четверти состоит из текста. Многие вещи, в стиле "толпы гоблинов, поднявших навесной мост и строящих вам издевательские рожи", вообще не отображаются на экране справа вверху - только в логе. Удовольствия это не снижает (даже наоборот - чувство, как-будто сам в книжку попал) но язык нужен. Точка.
4. Для всех кто прорвется через пункты 1-3 начнется увлекательное путешествие, ностальгическое в чем-то, и очень интересное. Все, что вы видите в описании от автора игры - правда. Рассы, классы, города, экипировка, магия, квесты, нестандартные ситуации, заставляющие поломать голову, области для приключений - всего очень много, а разнообразие обеспечивается за счёт того, что автор может меньше думать о форме ("графоне") и больше - о самом содержании.
Не хватает игре, пожалуй, только большей социальности и каких-то значительных сюжетно-нравственных выборов, к которым мы привыкли в современных играх - "на чью строну встать" и т.п. Но, не беда - в конце концов, в Скайриме этого, по сути, тоже не было - и ничего, с удовольствием поиграли же .))
На этом все. Надеюсь моя рецензия поможет кому-то сделать правильный выбор. Игра реально хороша, поражает несвойственной проектам для iOS глубиной и затягивает очень серьезно. 5 из 5.
П.С. Играть удобнее на планшете. На телефоне мне показалось мелковато. Зато есть "облачные" сохранения, позволяющие продолжать игру на другом устройстве без всяких проблем. Удобно.

Интересная RPG в духе Wizardry и древней серии Goldbox от SSI. Баланс вот только хромает. Игру пройти не смог из-за неоптимальной прокачки партии, видимо (в оставшихся локациях тупо дрючат так, что не зайти). Что я делаю не так? Хрен знает. В общем, разочарован.
