We’ve rebuilt our Mirror app from the ground up to offer a more flexible, reliable and feature-rich experience with Sketch.
With Sketch on your iPhone or iPad, you can:
→ Sign in to every Workspace you’re a part of (with SSO and 2FA support)
→ Browse projects and explore documents — anywhere, anytime
→ Play prototypes and test out ideas on a real device
→ Mirror the document you’re currently editing on your iPhone
→ Explore documents with a full canvas view on your iPad
→ Browse documents you’ve already opened when you‘re offline
→ Open local documents from the Files or other third-party file storage apps
This app requires an internet connection, an existing Sketch subscription and works exclusively with documents in your Sketch Workspace. This app is not compatible with Mac-only licenses.

- iPad support — Browse your Workspace, view documents, and play prototypes on your iPad! Better still, viewing documents on your iPad gives you a beautiful full Canvas view, giving you even more context and exposing all those little details that didn’t quite make it onto an Artboard.
- Open documents offline — No signal? No problem. If you’ve previously opened a Workspace document and suddenly find yourself without an internet connection, you can now re-open and browse that document (without mirroring or live updates), and play its prototypes.
- Open local documents — Along with offline support for previously opened Workspace documents, you can also open documents that live outside of your Workspace (in the Files app, or on a third-party service like Dropbox or Google Drive). You can also see Quick Look previews in the Files app.
- Handoff support — With a document open on your Mac, you can quickly open it on your iPhone or iPad via Apple’s Handoff feature. Likewise, if you’re viewing a document on your iPhone or iPad, clicking the app icon in your Mac’s doc will quickly open it for editing.
- Workspace search — Quickly find the right file by searching within your Workspace.
- Collections — Browse Collections of documents inside Projects, which we introduced in our latest update to the Mac and web apps.
- Auto-refresh — When you’re in a Workspace view, you’ll see instantly when someone moves, deletes, restores, or creates a document elsewhere.
- …and of course, we’ve taken the time to fix a few bugs along the way.

• You can now share links to documents. In the Workspace view, tap and hold a document to reveal the context menu, where you’ll see a Share action. In the Document view, you’ll find a share button in the sheet at the bottom of the screen.

One day I asked sketch for a discount as a student. They didn’t give anything and I started career with young Figma. Now I see, I was right. The difference is huge! All young designers can start working with figma for free, with free app. Absolutely no reason to switch after that.

First give then take
This app requires a subscription, which means Mac app licenses can walk past. First they offered Cloud documents to users with a Mac license, then they decided to limit usage only to those with a subscription. Now with this app they limit Mac app users again. Better off switching to Figma then, rather than paying $99 for renewal.
