1.5.2
2020-03-06
Enable she share menu to store constructions (use "Sav to file"). This allows to use all cloud services which are installed on the device. Fix a crash during startup on certain devices.
1.5.1
2020-03-02
Bug fix cloud storages
1.5.0
2019-11-08
Support iOS 13 devices. Massive speed improvements.
1.4.4
2019-02-20
sketchometry v1.4.4 fixes two minor problems: Dragging of labels does work again and hiding of polygons missed a point. Furhter, the reflection of arcs, sectors and angles is not supported in this version.
1.4.3
2019-02-13
sketchometry v1.4.3 introduces the copying of polygons, fixes a performance regression in curve plotting and corrects several minor bugs.
1.4.1
2019-02-08
sketchometry v1.4.1 fixes a performance regression introduced in 1.4.0: graph plotting should be very fast again.
This release contains a subtle but important change: manipulating a line or polygon with two fingers on a touch device does not longer scale the object. From now on it is only rotated and translated. This opens up many didactical opportunities.
1.4.0
2019-02-05
sketchometry 1.4.0 supports now Greek as new language. A new feature is that one can create mirror images of lines, circles, curves and polygons directly with the "mirror gesture".
Another visible change is we adapted the measuring notation to the German curriculum, e.g. the length of the segment defined by the points A and B is now displayed as |AB|.
Starting with this version, the amount of constructions that can be stored in sketchometry is limited only by the disk size of the device.
As usual, many bugs have been fixed.
1.3.5
2018-02-28
Version 1.3.5 is essential a bug fix: short, straight scribble curves got the wrong position.
1.3.4
2018-02-21
In this release 1.3.4, smooth scribble curves are introduced. This is the first step for doing calculus with sketchometry. Then, polygons can be reflected on a line or point (as well as points, lines and curves). Glider points can be set into "snap-to-grid" mode. Finally, some annoying bugs could be fixed.
1.3.2
2017-12-05
Version 1.3.2 improves the handling on small touch devices and fixes an event handling bug introduced in 1.3.0.
1.3.0
2017-12-05
Version 1.3.0 introduces the **scribble mode**, which allows you to draw in a construction.
Lines and curves may now be reflected directly across a line of reflection or a
point of symmetry.
Moreover, constructing on multi-touch devices has been made more robust against
unintended touches.
1.2.9
2017-10-31
Bug fix: sketchometry crashed if a glider was put on a sector.
1.2.8
2017-10-27
Version 1.2.8 supports Arabic language. Otherwise, it is mostly a bug fix release.
1.2.7
2016-12-02
The most notable new feature in version 1.2.7 are symbolic derivatives for function plots. For example, the input
D(x^3, x)
will plot the function graph of f(x) = 3*x^2 - as expected.
Further, this release fixes some bugs. For instance, checkboxes in the properties dialog should work now as expected.
Enjoy sketchometry! The sketchometry-Team
1.2.6
2016-10-05
Bug fix: update of circle radius
1.2.5
2016-09-28
Bug fix: change circle radius
1.2.4
2016-07-06
Version 1.2.4 comes with the new languages Czech, Norsk, Suomi, and Traditional Chinese. It improves stroke recognition, zooming and audio support. Further, the user interface has been slightly simplified.
The most important bug fixes are: cloud support and check boxes in the property dialog.
1.2.2
2015-12-10
This version contains several bug fixes. The most important addresses the handling of languages. Fallback language now is again English instead of Chinese. Correctly determine now Chinese, Japanese, Serbian and Slovenian.
1.2.1
2015-08-28
* Slope triangle:
- Beside curves also circles and lines are supported now
- Construction is now based on glider instead of tangent
* Slider end points can now be made visible. This allows to change the length and direction of the slider.
* Default font size can be set in options
* A construction keeps its zoom level independent from the device orientation
* Bug fixes
1.2.0
2015-06-19
New features:
* Angles in triangles are by default inner angles (non-reflex angles)
* Faster access to board properties (via button "properties") in a dedicated
toolbar
* Introduction of a fourth mode: if drag mode and construction mode are both off,
a hand symbol is shown which can be dragged around.
This is a useful feature when showing and explaining a construction in class room via Apple TV.
Bug fixes and improvements:
* Better zooming behaviour
* Saving and loading of constructions works across different window sizes
* Reduce size of app size by factor two
* Prevent the construction of points when dragging sliders
1.1.9
2015-05-01
The most notable improvements are:
* When measuring a preview of the measurement result is displayed in the toolbar.
* Melting points is much more versatile and stable
* Better support for RTL languages
* In all app versions cloud support was broken in 1.1.8. This has been fixed.
1.1.8
2015-03-19
The most notable improvements are:
* When measuring a preview of the measurement result is displayed in the toolbar.
* Melting points is much more versatile and stable
* Better support for RTL languages
* In all app versions cloud support was broken in 1.1.8. This has been fixed.
1.1.7
2014-12-16
Fix a critical bug that prevents new constructions on certain screen resolutions. Better audio support.
1.1.6
2014-12-05
Various bug fixes and language updates.
