Seasons Greetings!
• Now Integrates with the newly released app "Sleep Talk" — A first of its kind native Apple Watch app using watchOS 4 and a Speech Detecting Algorithm to allow you to Listen to your Sleep all from Apple Watch. With the "Sleep Talk" app downloaded on your device, and if used, the nightly recording will be playable from the bottom of your sleep report in Sleep Pulse, next to the Power Nap Add On. *Not all Apple Watch's are recommended for a native wrist worn use of "Sleep Talk" due to the energy constraints in listening for audio during hours of sleep. Depending on the age and size of the Apple Watch energy performance may vary, visit "Sleep Talk" support for more info and ways to maximize Apple Watch energy use. iPhone independent sleep recording will be available in a future release*
• For more info on the new Sleep Talk app, scroll to the bottom of a sleep report in Sleep Pulse, or search for "Sleep Talk" in the Apple Watch App Store.
• On Apple Watch updates the "Sync Again" button to read as "Analyze Again" which is a clearer label of the process that occurs when pressed.
• Updates App Store with iPhone X images and app previews

Previous 3.0 Update:
watchOS 4
• New Look, brand new design focused around simplicity while providing a detailed look at your last night's sleep on Apple Watch. The app opens to your last sleep report showing your sleep goal, sleep analysis, heart rate, and motion. The new Sleep Goal Ring and Analysis Donut Ring can be tapped for additional information.
• New Sleep View, redesigned to provide more context while you sleep including when you went to bed, how long you have been in bed for, and your live heart rate — great to monitor if you are relaxed in bed (more updates to come for this)
• Resting Heart Rate, upon wake your resting heart rate will be saved — a good measurement of your overall health.
• Sensitivity Level, easily adjust and test what is your sensitivity level from the new screen in the watch app (swipe right from the main screen), after your first night's sleep choose a sensitivity and tap 'Sync Again' to see the results.
• Complication Support, for best use add Sleep Pulse 3 to your watch face with a complication.
• iPhone Independent, away from your iPhone for a night? No problem Sleep Pulse 3 analyzes your full sleep without your iPhone — when it connects it will sync the reports over. Get your sleep report directly on your Apple Watch.
*Each morning firmly press on the screen to finish your sleep, ensure the screen remains ON while your sleep is processed.*
iOS 11
• New Look, Completely redesigned to provide a cleaner and clearer look at your sleep with rich colors, haptics, large text, sleep ring and the sleep analysis donut charts.
• Faster and More Reliable, a new data storage method allows for a more responsive app and safer for your sleep data
• New Metrics, REM Estimate - An estimate of how long you were in REM Sleep, see app for more details. Resting Heart Rate, what medical experts believe to be one of the most important measurements of your health is measured each morning by Sleep Pulse and provided for tracking in trends. Fell Asleep Heart Rate, an estimate of what your Heart Rate was when you fell asleep.
• New Analysis Donut Charts, see a breakdown ratio of how you slept on the sleep analysis donut chart. Also the detail of the type of motion that occurred during your sleep on the motion analysis donut chart.
• Sleep Tips, new ? appear by all the metrics to explain your sleep, tap one to learn more. These ? can be disabled in settings if a cleaner UI is preferred.
• Night Mode, when the brightness of the screen goes below 15% auto night mode will enable with a darker interface. If preferred on by default, this can be enabled in settings.
• Updated Trends, Resting Heart Rate makes it way to the trends view.
*Sleep must be started when In Bed, and not before each night, Sleep Pulse's algorithm tracks only sleep and any attempt to try and "auto track" your sleep before being In Bed will provide inaccurate results of your sleep*

The Original Sleep Tracker for Apple Watch is back...meet Sleep Pulse 3 Motion!
Brand new design, updated algorithm, more responsive interface, and new features to improve your sleep tracking. Noticing that other "sleep trackers" on the App Store claim to accurately track sleep with Apple Watch automatically — using only your heart rate — is misleading, and a better updated app needed to be an option for Apple Watch. Because our sleep is more complicated then just our heart rate, our movement plays a part to painting the complete picture. These "auto track" apps don't use motion, as it is something that needs to be processed directly (not in the background) on watchOS. Hence, Sleep Pulse 3 Motion:

A Brand New Version of Sleep Pulse is coming in the next update...important info below:
• New Design
• Better Reliability
• Fine Tuned Algorithm
• Built for watchOS 4 and iOS 11
Please read below for how to prepare for the update
– Update your Apple Watch to watchOS 4
– Update your iPhone to iOS 11 or greater
– Save any important data from Sleep Pulse 2 (screenshots, etc) as all data will be lost with the update*
*Important Notice about Sleep Pulse 2 Data:
The next version of Sleep Pulse will be a free update to all users of Sleep Pulse 2. The new Sleep Pulse will incorporate a new system to save data that is not compatible with Sleep Pulse 2 data. Therefore, it is recommended before updating to the new Sleep Pulse any crucial records are stored elsewhere as all data will be lost. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, Sleep Pulse 2's data storage method was not built for longevity and large amounts of data would cause the app to slow down. The new version of Sleep Pulse amends this for the app's longevity and a transition to a new data storage method will not occur again.
The new Sleep Pulse is expected to be released by the first week of December. It is recommended the app be downloaded as a fresh new copy, rather than as an update for current users.

Bug Fixes
Sleep Pulse users, I apologize for the unresponsive support this last year. I was finishing up my senior year of college and had to shift to focusing on my schooling and future.
However this summer, now having graduated, I have decided to focus on making better apps and exploring how technology can enhance our health and better our lifestyles.
Taking this next chapter as a full time job I hope to update numerous apps for iOS 10 and watchOS 3 unlocking new possibilities with the updates and introducing new apps in the coming months.
Again I apologize for the delayed updates, and for those who have not received email responses in the last couple of months.
More is to come...

Improved Reliability of Watch Syncing with iOS App and Health
Though syncing in the background may still not work 100%, the next update will have to work around the APIs and force the sync, I apologize for this inconsistency. If the app is instead crashing please delete and try to reinstall while reenabling the motion permission.
Thank you for those that have supported this unique app pushing the watch to where in a first iteration it wasn't intended to go. I have learned a lot in developing this app and also thank you to the many who have emailed me sharing their stories and use.
Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
More to come in the new year...
